Restrict mods from changing their avatars -

It's very important to the cohesion of this site to be able to identify all mods at a glance. Therefore, all moderators should lose their ability to change their avatar.

Maybe we can allow them to change it twice a year with admin approval, that seems fair. Alan Pardew is an exception providing he keeps a Metal Slug theme.

There are giant colored boxes "moderator" "admin" etc under each of them. Amazing how I can tell immediately at first glance they are in authority regardless of avatars.

Also, if you, for whatever reason, needs to find them that badly and can't take half a second to glance at the physical name in letters, then you clearly wouldn't be able to send them anything of note anyway.

yes, but see, CERTAIN PEOPLE have changed their entire identity, name and picture and EVERYTHING, without any warning, and there is the POSSIBILITY that the mods may suddenly decide to do this, maybe even all at once, leading us to wander round in circles, fearful of contacting any member of staff because they may be that one we accidentally ticked off in PM's when we first joined and our crippling social anxiety prevents us from even posting in the same thread as them because that's basically like being in the same room as them and what if we make eye contact or, oh god, they don't laugh at one of my jokes, or i don't laugh at one of theirs, oh god if they didn't hate me already they'd definitely hate me then, maybe even enough to murder me, but probably not in any outright fashion, no, they'd wait till my guard was down, like at 4 am when i'm in the middle of a sleep deprived shitpost, then they'd stick me in the neck with a needle full of an OD amount of heroin, and hack me into little pieces, and dump my body in the river outback, poisoning the entire town

@DT.Miller is just Ravenor but after Ravenor developed a giant hardon for The Expanse. It was pretty easy to figure out.
