Someday I'd like to see @AnOminous conduct a legal clinic on these idiots that includes a bullwhip, a fifth of scotch, and a shotgun full of rocksalt.
He'll be doing that anyway. Changing your normal habits at Christmas is for people with loved ones other than themselves. All I wanted for Christmas was Mark Waid sobbing like a little bitch.
He literally did nothing in this case. So it is entirely standard for this piece of fuck to gloat about having done nothing.
All your duck fucking bucks went to Mark Zaid, who works for Marvel, owned by Disney.Good grief. Wonder who Zaid billed his $500/hr (or whatever) rate for the time spent on this exchange? Must admit, well done, @FROG .
Wait, by what logic does this settlement mean Meyer could get in trouble somehow if Nick discusses this case? Is this just Igle talking out of his ass and others accepting it uncritically?
Sargon won his case against the stubborn black cunt who thought she'd end up stealing his lunch. So, not really. It's 2020.
The Woke Left always wins and nothing good ever happens.
Did anyone expect this case to turn out differently?
Igle is full of shit and Nick can talk about the case all he wants without involving Meyer or his legal team. They would have to prove he had inside knowledge of the agreement to take a shot at either of them. It's completely within Nick's rights to discuss what's already public and speculate about what may have happenedWait, by what logic does this settlement mean Meyer could get in trouble somehow if Nick discusses this case? I mean, I'm pretty sure of the answer, but I guess it doesn't hurt to be certain.
Did you see Zaid lying about what happened on twitterNot getting to see Mark Zaid curbstomped is possibly the most disappointing thing about this settlement.
It's not like if Waid was right there was some sort of remedy to his situation that would have gotten it resolved in less than 6 months, something like a TCPA. But sure spending 2 years fighting jurisdiction is definitely a sign of innocence.
Unless Nick signed on the dotted line himself he is completely not bound by any terms of the agreement.Wait, by what logic does this settlement mean Meyer could get in trouble somehow if Nick discusses this case? Is this just Igle talking out of his ass and others accepting it uncritically?

Mark Zaid is a piece of shit and nobody should expect anything better of him.Did you see Zaid lying about what happened on twitter
While it may not be legally unethical....its normal unethical
If Waid paid him a sum above and beyond the expected damages then the SJW grapevines gets a message that their shit can get really expensive. Waid has fuck you money, most of his peers don't so they will think twice before pulling any stupid shit.Re-posting from the Comicsgate thread.
Originally Meyer was going to do this with his own money. He said all the right things about not letting this happen to someone else, holding Waid accountable and so on.
If he managed to get a public apology out of Waid for his supporters who financed the LoLsuit that would have been something. But this is less than nothing.
Waid is not held accountable, no apology, no restitution we know of and the next asshole who decides to cancel a creator who liked Trump or thought there are only 2 genders won't think twice because Waid 'got away with it'. Whether Waid had to shell out to Meyer (I doubt it) or not we'll never know but if Meyer negotiated a cash settlement without an admission of guilt then he fucked over his supporters taking their money and then selling out their interests in return for Mark's money.
This result is gayer than two guys fucking.
Yes, an unaffliated lawyer will be in trouble for commenting on it, while the attorney of one of the people signing an NDA goes freely on twitter and explians the why and the how the case was dropped...Wait, by what logic does this settlement mean Meyer could get in trouble somehow if Nick discusses this case? Bingo. All the usual morons are bragging about how "comicgate got destroyed", as if Waid won the suit and took Zack to the cleaners. Now that I see Zaid's misleading statements (how surprisings) I'm even more sure that Zack got a decent payday to walk away.
The only people who are trying to say or imply it was a walkaway are the same people who are always telling lies and trying to spin everything.![]()
More in the "absolutely nothing happens" territory. Who's gonna sue for breaching the agreement, Zack? He's shown he does not want to sue.In that case, are the repercussions for doing so serious or more in the 'slap on the wrist' territory?
