If he wants to dabble with a Cat themed Mario game, why not make cat like power ups and collectables? Toy Mice, Cat Nip, feather toys, laser lights, yarn balls, strings? No, he just has to copy Mario's power ups and throw in a bunch of copyrighted characters that are Rio's BBF's magically.
Something I seen with Rio, though.

If I really have to be honest about Riolu, then it would really have to be the fact that he is how he is because his friends support this shit behavior. It would also be the main reasons why Riolu get so much shit. Sure his fetish art and his edge art played a major role, but where as art is subjective, shit friends aren't something that would be all opinionated. I just really feel like Riolu thinks he has these wonderful friends, yet a good majority of them would just not give a rats ass and only ask for art, where as a few would actually try and help him. It's kinda something I've noticed when he does make "vent" art, and I'm honestly disappointed that he has such shit friends. Now am I saying that Riolu didn't have this behavior in the first place? No, because even before his claim to infamy he kinda was explosive (and I mean on his older art works and shit). What I will say, however, is that his "friends" made his attitude more common, as they want that to happen.
I'm more worried about the seam on his stomach.

What's interesting about Riolu is that he seems like an average DA user (not saying that's a good thing), but him and his friends are just a little bit weirder and more prone to drama than the average user.
It's as if he knows what he's doing is weird to some extent, and he knows that his friends are weird as well. But, it's working for him, so why stop?
