Ripping music from Spotify (and other sites) -

  • Sustained Denial of Service attacks. Paid for botnet. Service will continue to be disrupted until I can contact other providers and arrange a fix.

Continuing my purge of woke streaming apps, I'm about to cancel my spotify sub however I want to make a copy of my like playlist.

What program does anyone here use to copy their media? This can be expanded outside of spotify for further discussion and sharing.

I'm not sure about downloading any songs from spotify, but personally I've been using this Spotify adblock method on my Windows PC for quite some time without a subscription. Not sure if there's a Linux or mobile solution. Blocks all ads with seamless functionality. Its great for when I can't find something on rutracker.

The Pirate Bay offers a fast, reliable alternative to these garbage "lol you're just renting a license to listen to our intellectual property in private in groups of less than 6 and you own none of it and lose access to it all once you stop paying" rent-seeking services.

A good overseas seedbox will run you about five bucks a month and will spare you the nuisances of "clever" RIAA goons grabbing your IP address and/or your ISP narc'ing you out at the first hint of saber rattling from the cartel.

Music torrenting ain't what it used to be. The death of large iPods and authorities shutting down What.cd has left a void for a replacement, but without such the demand to fill those pocket players full of pirated music.

Basic torrent trackers like Pirate Bay is okay if you're not finky about formats, quality, and its nothing that a normie would have not heard of.

Brave lately is autoblocking ads on spotify, though just using the service just by boosting usage numbers if you're concerned about supporting their crack IT team of trannies.

I get a youtube link into ytmp3 then use an app that inputs the data of the song, such as the album, cover, singer, etc.

I use audacity, just select your audio card in your output settings and record the song, they have no loss and you can save them in any format this way.

Another similar thing I did as a kidwas connecting the output of the headphones to the input of the microphone and let windows voice recoreder running on the background.

I know that both of this sound like work but I prefer it this way as it leaves 0 records online of downloads and I have received angry letters from my ISP asking me to stop being naughty.

I haven't used it in a while but soulseek is my favorite way to get music. It's a pretty lightweight p2p music sharing application and I've been able to find even pretty obscure stuff and at very good quality. Remember to share your own music, too.
