The foods on this list I've never eaten and probably won't. Fugu or sashimi pufferfish is a dish that will kill you if not prepared right. I can't remember which organs have the toxin, but it's one of the most dangerous toxins for humans. Not sure if Japan made an antidote for it or not.

Kiviak, little auks stuffed into a seal's stomach and left to ferment. Quite a bit of people get botulism and die from it.

Some sort of Jamaican dish with ackee, a fruit that's toxic if under ripe.

Polar bear meat, too much vitamin A is going to kill you.

The Korean dish where they eat a live octopus. Really not sure how I feel about it since I've seen videos where they dump lime juice and salt in the octopus's eyes before eating it, but people die from choking as the octopus doesn't want to die and clings onto their teeth.

No interest in making a mayo based dressing since the whole point is to make an "authentic" dressing. Otherwise it seems like using miracle whip vs. Mayo kind of idea.

I'd eat the shit out of you.
If you're making an authentic Caesar dressing usually people take a stab at it around 40 or so times before they get it right.

Don't worry accidents and salmonella poising happen.

Im not even sure if using Mayonnaise isnt more authentic, no way they didnt used their freshly made Mayonnaise as base for it.
The only difference would be modern (proper mayo, not miracle whip) mayo uses pasteurized eggs and is thicker then homemade mayo.

no, they cut off the top of the squid mantle (including the brain) then for show, and taste I guess, pour sodium high liquid on it to make it move for show. The suckers are just reacting to normal muscle chemistry. Same thing happens in America with frog legs.

how bad are you people from the colonies in "cooking"? its just like making Mayo, the trick is that the egg and the oil sould be at the same temp.

Almost the entire fugu blowfish has tetrodotoxin in its body. Ranging from the skin, eyes, ovaries /testicles, fins, and most of their organs and there's no antitoxin. The best you can do for someone exposed to the poison is put them on a respirator and iv drip to keep their oxygen levels and hydration stable until the body naturally stabilizes the toxicicy and the paralysis passes.

It's not the poison itself that kills you, it's the paralysis that can spread to the lungs and stop your breathing.

Polar bear meat isn't the problem, its the liver you don't eat because of the vitamin A. Same thing for huskies apparently

In the US, Japan, and Australia eggs get washed and kept refrigerated. You don't have to worry about chicken shit being on the outside of the egg so you don't have to do that 'only crack eggs on a flat surface' thing Eurocucks do.
If you're a Eurocuck and your eggs aren't refrigerated, or you are getting unwashed eggs from a local farm, you can just wash the eggs before you crack them if you see spots of chicken shit on them.
The CDC estimates that maybe 1 in 20,000 eggs is infected with salmonella. Raw egg isn't really as risky as it was several decades ago.
