How do you people find all this crap in such record time?

Well first you start by googling the name.

Then you start taking suspected aliases and start googling those.

If you use "" around obscure search terms it forces them to be in the results, so searching "onedingo" brings up quite a few of his accounts without the millions of unrelated sites spam you would normally get

Just because someone can't obtain a gun legally doesn't mean they can't get one. Hence the issue with restrictive gun control. People will still find a way. Gun shops aren't the only place to get a gun.

I agree 100% with this, but if you obtained a gun illegally, you wouldn't be posting it on a public social media, unless you're incredibly stupid. I guess he was.

Just a heads-up: there is another Robert Bowers from Bucks County, PA, which is on the eastern side of Pennsylvania. He also has a lengthy criminal record. If you're posting anything attached to his legal name, be extremely careful to ensure that it's the correct Robert Bowers.

Pittsburgh is on the western side of Pennsylvania, so if it's actually him, it should match up to that area.

Edit: It appears there is another Robert Bowers from Mercer County in Western Pennsylvania. His full name is Robert Lee Bowers, Jr, and he was born in 1972. According to the criminal records posted by @yawning sneasel, our shooter's name is Robert Paul Bowers, and his birthday is 1/20/1973.
