Bob isn't even aware of the specific reason this graffiti happened, I'm betting.
This isn't merely about priests diddling some altar boys. This is the fallout of hundreds of unmarked graves (over 700 last I heard) at the grounds of an Indian Residential School in Saskatchewan which was run by the Roman-Catholic Church. Some were run by the Anglican Church (Church of England basically), some by the Presbyterians, United Church, or Methodists, but a LOT were run by the Roman Catholic Church. Of these, only the Roman Catholic Church has NOT "apologized" for their role in the Residential Schools, and Justin Trudeau's been trying to get the Pope to do so without success.
Now, a bunch of these kids died of illnesses (Tuberculosis prevalent among them), but they lacked proper medical care in these facilities, and to top it all off, there was some serious abuse going on in those places. Siblings were not allowed to talk to one another. Children were beaten for speaking their own language. Kiddy Diddlers had open season and bribed other children into being accomplices. Beatings as a punishment in general, I guess was alien to the Indian way of life, but half of this has me wondering what went on in run-of-the-mill Boarding Schools, which well-to-do Brits and others often sent their kids away to willingly without a second thought as to how the kids were treated. But the Indians didn't willingly send away their children. They were forcibly taken if they wouldn't go willingly, by the RCMP. Pretty much amounts to kidnapping. There's instances in the past of the kids burning down a school or two, kids attempting to escape and drowning or dying of hypothermia or exposure. One kid escaped when he was 16 and made it across the border to the United States, where this style of Residential School wasn't a thing.
Prior to the graves discovered in Saskatchewan, there were about 300 unmarked graves discovered by a residential school in the BC Interior. Most parents never heard the fate of their children; the schools didn't bother informing the parents if their child passed away or "vanished". Maybe some of it was murder; who knows. The children who survived such treatment disproportionately took to alcohol and drugs to kill the pain of the abuse which of course started a cycle of abuse in Native families that persists to this day. An incredibly disproportionate number of Native kids are in foster care because of this. Residential Schools are still Living Memory; they started in the late 1800s and continued as they were until the 1970s. Around that time some were turned into "Indian Day Schools' meaning they were no longer boarding schools, and in the 1990s a guy from the United Church (The NDP at Prayer)-run Port Alberni Residential School was tried and put in jail for the number of kids he abused and outright diddled. Dude's name is Arthur Plint.

Yeah, just because they didn't have the kids there 24/7 anymore doesn't mean the abuse stopped. I'm 100% certain. If someone was truly upset over something they saw, they wouldn't feel the need to shout it to the world, nor would they go back to their usual Twitter obsession later that day. Jesus's teaching about how hypocrites pray seems relevant here.
Look at our "illustrious" Prime Minister who is easily the biggest narcissist in the country who deluded himself into believing that he somehow earned everything his has, when he had the entire world handed to him through his grandfather's money and father's reputation. It really astonishes to see how stupid the people of Southern Ontario (especially the GTA) and Montreal can be because of how readily they forgave him for his blackface and the Kokanee grope. There are also rumors that Trudeau left his teaching position after engaging in an inappropriate relationship with a student, but the other party signed an NDA so it remains unconfirmed.
One of his cabinet members--the Minister for Indigenous Affairs, no less--recently insinuated that Jody Wilson-Reybould was angling for a pension after she criticized the LPC for being focused on calling a new election than dealing with the newly discovered graves. It's important to note that JWR is First Nations herself and has an acrimonious relationship with the LPC after the SNC-Lavalin scandal. What did Trudeau do? Did he fire said minister? Not a chance! He accepted her half-assed apology and told he rest of country that we should two. The First Nations chiefs of British Columbia aren't impressed and condemned Carolyn Bennett (the minister in question) and I believe that that First Nations leadership should outright refuse to deal with her. I don't know if I would agree with JWR on much, but I am disgusted with the lack of respect that Bennett shown.
I am increasingly embarrassed to call myself Canadian because of the LPC's antics and the stupidity of its voter base.

Too many people vote Liberal because gibs me dat and they've been told Conservatives are the Devil Incarnate and that Liberal is the only "centrist" option. Hell, the only reason the Conservatives even got in during the Harper Era is Harper promised to get rid of the Gun Registry, which resonated across party lines. But then the idiots forgot what the Liberals are all about re: guns and voted them back in. Not that the Conservatives are any great shakes either, but we at least need to change the "diapers" (politicians) regularly to keep them from pulling crap for too long. Trudeau Jr got a crap ton of votes for legalizing pot.

His predecessor was also a Democrat since 1971.
