Yes. Rob was the one who broke in and ended the Wacko Siege, and has been mentioned on several other occasions.
Jace's brother wants him to do Let's Plays, trolling is a federal crime, Jace makes videos because he wants respect but no one respects him IRL.

This video is interesting because it shows some behind the scenes shit going on in his life.
1) (Biggest item) Rob used to want Jace to stop streaming, but is actively encouraging the monetization of his YouTube channels now.
2) Jace shows mad respect for Rob.
3) Jace hints that he's on his medications again.
4) The entire video he's obviously very stressed.
5) He elaborates on how much effort he puts into his streams and his motivation for doing so.

Also, Robert is not only allowing him to stream and make videos, but he encourages it now? As much as entertaining Jace can be while providing hilarious content, he needs less encouragement to act like a turd for hundreds of people to watch, not more. Damn it, Rob.

Naah, the most interesting part is how sad and miserable Jace is in real life. No wonder he smokes weed so much, when he has failed every (even the smallest) expectations his family had in him, no one respects him, his best friend is 17 years old who probably hates him. His only "friends" are his fans and he has none. Nobody loves him (maybe his brother does) and everything he does make him even harder to love or respect at least. Soon he will find himself kicked out of his house for good, with no money for weed or food, no friends and sending his friend to a possible death in Israel. How he will survive I don't know but he might be in worse situation than CWC. Not to mention his ongoing descent into insanity.

Why? It's obvious why he loves him. They're both idiots who are shit at gaming.
Just a couple of observations:
1. He mentions how he won't share personal info about his life in a video where he talks about his private life.
2. To do gaming streams, he'd have to improve his skills. Unless he's just going to emulate DSP's "I'm pressing buttons" rage.
3. He'd probably be better off monetizing Fact Zone, since there are plenty of news/opinion/commentary channels and shows on the 'Tube.
In short, Jace needs to stop whining about how hard his life is and how much he deserves respect and actually put some real effort into his gig.

Robert wants Jace to have some sort of purpose in life. Right now he has no goals, so he gets faded, acts like a clown for cyberbullies, then gets himself into real trouble. If Jace had a goal to work towards, he might actually have a shot at a decent life. Rob isn't deluding himself though - he's not talking about Jace going out and getting a 9 to 5 job; Can anybody honestly see Jace surviving in the job market? Neither does Rob, so he needs something else to do.
What does Jace do that isn't self destructive?
He knows how to work Youtube and is pretty aware of what content is allowed and what isn't (he's always concerned about playing musical themes and other content that might get him flagged for copyright issues). He attempts to hide his bad behaviors such as smoking "tobacco", aware that drug use on his channels will get him banned (he just fails at it when he's off his meds and gets stressed out and needs a toke, being psychologically addicted to using weed as a means to combat the stresses in his life).
He made allies of people who can make decent video graphics for intros and effects. He attempts to use graphical effects to enhance the visuals of his show (E.g. he tries to use a green screen, and his American flag to set stages.)
He's enterprising enough to try new things. See all the various zones he makes when he thinks doing the exact same thing over and over is going to be boring to an audience, so he tries to mix it up with Fact Zone, Indie Zone, Review Zone, T-Zone, the hilarious Wolf Zone, (the painful and forgettable Meme Zone...)
He's fairly knowledgeable about video games, which is a subject that's popular enough for people to explore in internet media for profit (since Game Grumps, DSP, Pewdiepie, various review channels, etc. all exist and earn some form of living). He's certainly more knowledgeable than the average individual about them. He may not be the best at playing them, but with practice he improves to be competent. The part he usually sucks at is learning a new game - he doesn't do his research before he presents himself playing it (he doesn't know the key layouts or what to do generally then). He plays games he likes fairly well, such as CS:GO. Also, watch some of his earlier plays of Space Station 13 and Postal 2 versus his later plays - he's much more in control and generally starts working towards a goal after some time put into a game (such as being a barman in SS13, or destroying the secret Muslim base and rescuing Tupac in Postal 2).
He can draw a crowd - currently, he's drawing an audience for the wrong reasons. I assume this is what Rob wants to try and correct.
Lastly and most importantly, he has passion. He wants to be a famous vlogger and streamer, and puts effort into this, even if its only half-assed effort. Look at Christopher Weston Chandler's attempts to be a famous comic book artist - as time went on, he simply got lazier and lazier, until the point he wouldn't draw unless forced to by some outside entity - and even then, his later artwork started skimping on backgrounds and coloring and such. Jace, on the other hand, keeps trying to add more zone segments and backgrounds and video graphics and content.
So rather than push Jace into a situation where he'd be a stocking monkey at Costco or whatever, then get depressed, then fall into the same self destructive habits he's already exhibiting, Rob encourages him to follow his dreams, which Jace is already pursuing - Only problem is, Jace half-asses his attempts at his dreams due to drug abuse and delusions of grandeur. Jace lets his bad habits and problems get in the way of putting in the actual hard work it would take for him to be genuinely successful, and Rob wants to help with this.
That's my two cents anyways.
No offense, I think you are buying into this a bit too much. Jace is a mentally ill narcissistic manchild who wants to join his delusional and glorified version of the USMC (since it is not real, he can't join, obviously) along with numerous idiotic statements and actions (sending his friend Eli to a warzone for example) - Do you think he could get to Internet fame without looking like a laughing stock at best and a crazy person at worst?
Basically, the only real reason people watch Jace is to watch him fail in life. He needs to find something that is out of his destructive environment, and as much as I enjoy Jace's shenanigans, him being on the Internet is a destructive environment.
Obviously, Jace will never manage to find real help in any meaningful way, so I will just sit back and enjoy the ride. I just wish Robert, from the looks of it, stop making Jace into the new DSP.

Jace is a pot smoking delusional narcissist with hundreds of other problems who is unemployed (outside of drug deals presumably). I am fairly sure Robert doesn't sift through all of Jace's live streams or he'd see the hundreds of times he gets high on camera or throws up on camera. As far as Rob knows, it's just something he does once a week where he plays games with his 'fans' every Monday. From an outsiders point of view, thats fucking healthy as shit for someone in Jace's position and as his brother I can see why Rob would support it.
From what very, very little we know of Rob he seems to be intelligent. I highly doubt he wants Jace to become a true YouTube star, he just wants his brother to have something positive to aim for. He probably already knows Jace isn't ever going to hold an actual career since he's on disability and all and this could be his way of trying to get Jace to shift away from the more harmful things in life.
