This thread is made to discuss your favourite rom hacks.

There are no restrictions on what type of rom hack your interested in (i.e. mods, level edits, retextures and text edits, and exec…) or even content for that matter.

ISO modding discussion is also allowed.

While not really a hack in the traditional sense, Mother 3 english patch is my all time favorite modded rom.
This is one of my all time favorite games, and actually being able to play it was great!

Similar to you, my favorite modded rom is of From Software's Shadow Tower Abyss. I'll never forget this PS2 game that was only released in Japan. To decapitate a boss and sever his arms and yet he still comes at you. I'll never forget that.

I've heard of some crazy hacks for NES ROMs. There's one floating around on the internet called Super KKK Brothers.

It turned out the original authors of this hack were Harvard graduates.

The hacked, modified and improved version of the original Donkey Kong arcade game.

Rom Hacks are the best. And being you can play emulators on your Wii if you hack that, you can actually play all these sick hack games like you would any game with a game controller.

Similar to you, my favorite modded rom is of From Software's Shadow Tower Abyss. I'll never forget this PS2 game that was only released in Japan. To decapitate a boss and sever his arms and yet he still comes at you. I'll never forget that.

That was a modded ISO, like those modded out bootleg San Andreas games from Africa. (But it's different as you probably got it off the internet)

Custom ISOs are also great for porting PC mods to consoles (as well as hacks)

I recommend the Pokemon ash-grey rom hack if you want to play Pokemon with the anime storyline.

If you can't evolve Bulbasaur and Squirtle and if Charizard is forced to be disobedient, then its not worth it.
