Independent reporting confirms that an actual rock weighing several kilograms (many pounds) was, indeed, used in the attack.
According to Antena 1 reporting, the woman who threw the rock was a homeless woman. She was accompanied to the building where the show is shot by another homeless woman who stayed at the same shelter, where the two have spent much time since 2019, who reportedly received a phone call from an unknown person before the thrower of the rock stripped and entered the studio. The rock thrower is thought to have been released from the Alexandru Obregia Hospital, which among other things provides the services of a mental hospital, a week before the attack.
