Strokes you have precious minutes to get help the brain is dying. Thankfully he was somewhere where people were there to get him to the hospital. It could mean the difference from you being alive with some slight impairments or a vegetable forever.

If they're not bullshitting about his current state, then it looks like he had a TIA (mini stroke). If that is what happened then he'll be back to normal very soon. Even if it was just a TIA, they should still keep him for a few days because a TIA can be the precursor to a major stroke, like a fore shock to an earthquake.

In a shadowy bunker, Alan Greenspan is cursing and demanding a refund for a botched job.
Almost bizarely the fact that this happened during a livestream probably got him medical aid much faster than normal. People were watching it happen and raising the alarm. I'm guessing just a really bad TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack. A sort of mini stroke that you recover from in a short period of time. Can often be precursers to the real thing.)
Some tough old guys don't know what they would do with shit like "peace" and "quiet"; they live for the fight, and only incapacitation or death can keep them from it. I suspect Ron Paul's one of those tough old guys.
That video was horrifying to watch, so it's good to see him smiling, with both sides of his face working again. I know he's at risk for a bigger stroke, but it looks like this won't be his last rant against the Fed.
I haven't always agreed with his political views, but respect the hell out of him for his integrity, and wish he wasn't such a rare breed (and getting rarer). It will be a sad day when he finally goes, but thankfully today is not that day.
