Haven't watched anything RT going on about 3 years now. Main RT content just got fucking same-y and boring, like they were only uploading 3/4 different videos every week and could be boiled down to the same shit.
Dropped off AH because their videos outside of Minecraft were either such dogshit gameplay (holy fuck, watching them try to play Killing Floor goddamn nearly killed me) or was Jack Box with unfunny people. Even then, they fucking dropped the ongoing Minecraft mod they were doing that was interesting, so I dropped that too.
Podcasts became fucking unbearable. RT Podcast: Cast either included that fucking moron Brandon that somehow never fucking managed to get a Darwin Award, or was "what did Blaine/Miles/Barbara do this week, and why it was boring". Off-Topic Podcast: Being drunk and talking about your week isn't interesting. Gaming Podcast: One I actually liked because my boi Ryan got to talk fun shit, so it got cancelled twice after slowing degrading it to nothingness. Always Open: Shit sex advice, Miles/Barbara oversharing their sex lives, Muriel being fucking depressing.
The animation department just went to fucking shit. RvB got boring to watch after season 10, RWBY decided to completely shit the bed ruining what charm and potential they had, Nomad of Nowhere was fucking dumb, Camp Camp got moved to being First only, XRay and Vav got cancelled. I think I might be missing other shows, but clearly they left such little impact that I can't be fucking bothered to retain those memories.
Their entire downfall can be summarised as "Oh god, please we just want to stay relevant. If we giving this dumb black lesbian screen time, can you guys continue watching us?"
@Pizdec Might be worth mentioning in the OP that time RT upped the price of their First memberships, only for one of their community managers to white knight them from upset customers (that saw no value coming from the price hike) by essentially calling them poor.

I can't remember if it was this most recent episode or the one before, but they mentioned that RT was still supporting their merch. Also, I doubt they have the balls to tell the black man he's not allowed to make allusions to the word nigger.

Miles Luna is definitely the most insufferable prick at Rooster Teeth and he has zero self awareness. Remember his rant about Tifa's outfit in the Final Fantasy 7 remake?
In other words, they're just a bunch of fuck ups who thought they could compete with the big leagues. They ate their own shit and smelled their own farts, believing that they could only go up.
It wouldn't even be so pathetic if they hadn't become a one trick pony. What I find astonishing out of all this is that they've managed what's taken their corporate betters decades to reach, in what amounts to a paltry fraction of that very time frame; brand fatigue.
I can hardly care for RT anymore because they've become so... sterile, bland, and just... stale. What are they even doing anymore? Can someone tell me? I can look up their latest videos but much of their content is about boring crap about their lives, their DSP tier gaming, and if I'm extremely lucky, somebody making a not so edgy joke. I feel dead even thinking about Rooster Teeth without roasting them to high heaven. Nothing short of them being fully absorbed into Warner or run out of business will give me some level of amusement.
Possibly the only smidgen of entertainment value they have left.

I love how Roosterteeth are so against any form of critisim they're willing to lose people who pay for thier shit rather than admit someone in youtube comments had a point. It started from what I can see with their minecraft series, people where saying for years, "You guys should switch to PC you wouldn't have most of the issues you're having" or "Hey this has gotten stale maybe try some mods." but they did nothing but mock them calling them whiners. Lo' and behold they eventually moved to PC and modded minecraft after losing over half their audience.
Basicly this move to delete old stuff isn't a change in RT they've ALWAYS had the mindset of "Fuck our fans we know better" even when it's proven time and time again to be false.

That's the amusing factor about Miles, Brandon, and Chris. Without a doubt they got hired because they were retards along with any notable qualifications. Also hi, I'm glad to see the thread is doing alright, I'll be working on refining it later, as I'm currently working.

Inshallah, Rooster teeth deserve bankruptcy and failing for how they turned on their target audience. While gaming is a cancer itself filled with degenerates, doing bad business is even worse than that. You don't turn your back on your core audience over political reasons.
This kind of shitshow seems to be the case as with any type of indie youtube-based "gamer"/nerd entertainment channel.
Collegehumor, Dorkly, Machinima, Screwattack, Channel Awesome, Yogscast, and now Roosterteeth. To be frank, though, out of all of the aforementioned channels, Roosterteeth was always my least favorite. After a certain point, they started to feel super corporate and soulless. They adopted a really pretentious hyper-libbie attitude out of nowhere.
Of course, Collegehumor/Dorkly adopted the same attitude when the 2010s hit, but it felt a lot less pronounced than Roosterteeth. Roosterteeth being a literal liberal nepotism circus was an odor so strong and foul that I stopped watching almost instantly.
RWBY is utter unwatchable cliche anime shit, I have no clue how cheaply they sold Gen:Lock to get Adult Swim to air it as filler, Camp Camp is edgy pessimistic invader zim lite for kids going through their tumblr phase, that new Recording cartoon is basically the diet version of the quick sister character from Gravity Falls making dumb social media references.
All derivative trash. The most RWBY has going for it is that in some last grab for attention, they'll make the black and the yellow girl last-minute-lesbians.
All I hope is that people archive all of the episodes of Red vs. Blue. Everyone say goodbye to half of Achievement Hunters and Rage Quit.

The reason why these nerd channels inevitably fail is that “true” nerd culture is what the mainstream rejects or doesn’t wish to spend the time to fully understand, therefore when these nerd channels try to jump from their core to the mainstream they must betray their roots on some level. The mainstream wants what is safe and easily digestible, while nerd culture is neither of those two things.
