This company that started when Burnie Burns and Matt Hullum make an indie movie, The Schedule, in college, that stared Joel Heymen, who later moved to LA and had little success.
Burnie then met Geoff Ramsey (then named Geoff Fink), Gustavo Sorola, Dan Godwin, and Jason Saldaña, and the five formed drunkgamers.com, a website where the five reviewed various video games while drunk.
They where originally known as the Drunk Tank Podcast, but later changed their name to RoosterTeeth Podcast, in-order to get free games, because according to them, no company wanted to give free games to a company with drunk in their name.
Their main claim to fame is Red vs. Blue, which started in 2003, and was hugely successful.
