OK, just watched the latest episode, this time it's Darlene's go for a kicking.

My God, this episode made me first curious about David, then think he was scum, then feel sorry for him, then think he was scummy, then feel sorry for him again. Some pretty sound writing. Loved the return of Bev too! 'They said I was a danger, I gave a couple of men a little gonorrhoea'

I still don't know how to feel about DJ's kid though, she still hasn't done anything.

Bit of a slower episode this week (nice to see Christopher Lloyd getting work still though!).

It's funny that Mark was the greatest source of worry at the start, but I think his relationship with Dan is quite possibly the most interesting part of the show.

I'm just wondering when the storyline about DJ having PTSD issues will come in since he's not often used so far. I am enjoying it so far though. Anyone freaking out over this show because of politics are just tards at this point since now it's just a normal show.

And I really wish Leon would come back for an episode. He was hilarious.

One of the reasons I liked Roseanne so much is that Leon was a gay republican. I doubt you'll see that on television now. Fred Willard was pretty damn good on Roseanne though.

Darlene is obviously a fucking awful parent. Both of her kids are terrible, for completely different reasons.. The daughter was clearly an unlikable so and so (way worse than Darlene herself ever was as a kid) from the beginning, but Darlene's son actually rubs me the wrong way even more, and not at all for his wardrobe choices... (I actually kind of liked him in the first few episodes... ) But in the most recent episode, he was given a paid project from Dan, that he decided to completely ignore the instructions to and "creatively" interpret them into doing his own thing... (which was fucking stupid) Yeah, that made it clear he needs more discipline than his mother is willing to give him, especially when Da1rlene took his side.. Everything Dan said was completely correct, and Darlene was wrong to even try to go against it...

The implication has clearly been that DJ ultimately married and had a kid with the black girl that he did not want to kiss in elementary school... (They literally name dropped her) You are though completely right that his daughter does not at all look mixed.

I see Darlene as the type to subvert the project, she'd build the house properly but paint bird versions of Beavis and Butthead on it or something, not ignore the instructions completely and build Frank Gehry's wet dream.

Today's episode where Rosanne has to ask her new Muslim neighbors to borrow their internet so the family could Skype with DJ's wife could've gone all cringy. It did play on some average people's fears and Roseanne's little talk back to the cashier who insulted her (she waited until the Muslim wife left the store), still has the typical Roseanne wit ("and you better be careful, because they have enough fertilzer to blow this place up"). Sadly, I missed the first ten minutes, but I'll be curious how they will handle DJ getting therapy.
