Did anyone read/hear wrestler Mick Foley (Mankind)'s story of being on her show? He made her sound like a complete nut case.
No, but I believe it. Ned Beatty left the show because of her behavior. I heard that John Goodman wanted to leave the show for good and that's why in season 8 Dan ended up going to California to take care of his mother. Rumor is that they had to make him come back too. There's so many horror stories about her then.

I'm not all that wild about all these old shows getting re-boots, you just can't capture the magic that the original series had, and you just gotta leave things alone to preserve them.
Roseanne got so shitty towards the end of the series though, that I don't think a re-boot would do it much harm. The last 2 seasons were especially unwatchable, so there's no where to go but up.

The original series had black characters, but they were regular people just like everyone else. These days though, I can see the black characters depicted as one dimensional stereotypes who's sole personality trait is that they're black, just like how the gay character in the show went from a regular person, to an annoying one dimensional stereotype later in the series.
Let's see how they'll depict the trans character. I'm guessing that being a tranny will be their one personality trait.

Married With Children was the superior dysfunctional family sitcom.

But Rosanne did have its charms, and the fact morons are getting uppity because the main character isn't spewing anti-Trump bile every thirty seconds and in fact may agree with some of the things he has to say is the true entertainment here.

I remember hearing about Roseanne supporting Trump, which I assumed was because his working class appeal, but never paid attention to what's happened with her since. AFAIK, she called herself a socialist, supported Occupy Wall Street, and wanted George Zimmerman dead. Oh, and obviously she's a feminist and a Jew, two which otherwise would make her a liberal hero. I wouldn't say she's redpilled, as she has always been a shitlord, like her satirical 2012 presidential run. I never really found her funny since her namesake show, but all this salt is priceless.

On a side note, a show which started in 1988 is a "90s reboot?" Sure the duration of it was during the 90s, but its highest ratings were in 1989 and 1990. Silly millennial writer!
She's a jew, being controlled opposition and opportunism is in her nature.

The irony is that they’re acting like the show is just gonna be one big Trump circle jerk. Roseanne has said that while her character will be a supporter, not everyone will. They’re bitching about the “family that looks like yours” thing, but honestly that’s the case with family usually; some of them like one guy and others like the other guy. Not to mention the fact that there’s also going to be a black kid and a trans kid.
B-but she supports Trump!:'(

What a bunch of crybabies. You can't watch a TV show that is literally throwing diversity at you because the title character is going to support Captain Cheeto? It doesn't say the whole thing is a Trump lover's orgy. I guarantee there will be some conflict between characters.

No one's REEEEEing at Sara Gilbert for being a part of this? I'm actually rather surprised at that.

I think that this is an unnecessary show. But it's going on the air anyway. And it's going to have "muh diversity". And here people are willing to throw that away because Roseanne might interject a little Trumpsterism into it as well. I personally think they should leave polotics out of the show because it may divide the audience. However, it also makes for good press because it will get people interested in what the characters are going to say in the current climate. Watch Roseanne mention Trump like once or twice before it's dropped and forgotten. I seriously doubt she's going to have his portrait mounted in the kitchen like Jesus and bring up his presidency in every scene.

It's really sad to see that there are people who refuse to give something a chance based solely on the fact that something they might not like may be said in it. Something that you can just overlook while you enjoy the other parts of the show. But God forbid you might get triggered. I guarantee the first time Trump is mentioned snowflakes all over social media will b coming down with a case of PTSD.

The original show had plenty of politics and arguments and diversity, just as part of the fabric of life. It didn't seem forced at all, just real shit that happened to people all the time.

Here's some salt from troon movie critic Danielle soltzman (the same one that TJ Miller chimped out about via email) :

While I’m all in favor of an increase in transgender and gender-nonconforming characters on television, I’m not in favor of those coming on a series that star someone with a known history of transphobia.
Only perfect allies (actually, only trans people) may ever write a trans character, only trans people should play trans characters, trans people are a tiny minority, but the lack of representation is because of transphobia, sure lol. These people are not even worth pandering to. The kid in the show isn't transgender anyway lol, the opposite, the kind of kid that could be labelled trans but isn't.

I can't imagine how these screeching cunts would have reacted to All in the Family, made by Norman Lear, one of the most classic TV pinkos of all time. It starred Carroll O'Connor as a bigot who routinely calls people "coons," "spades," "hebes," "queers," "fags," and pretty much any other slur you can think of other than "nigger." But Sammy Davis, Jr. says that, describing himself as a "one-eyed nigger."

Despite this, rather than being a monster, Archie Bunker is a fundamentally decent person who treats the people around him, including black people and people fitting every slur he uses, with respect. When he finds out he accidentally joined the Ku Klux Klan, he's absolutely horrified and quits immediately.

I think, though, they'd actually be more screechingly outraged not at the racial slurs, but at how the primary liberal on the show, his son-in-law Michael Stivic, is treated. He routinely showers him with abuse, calling him "meathead" and a "dumb polack."

Even more ironically, Archie was initially intended to be an antagonist of sorts, but rapidly became a fan favorite.

All in the Family, of course, is currently regarded as one of the most groundbreaking television comedies of all time and is regarded as actually having improved race relations by talking about them honestly, and spun off a number of majority black shows like The Jeffersons and inspired the creation of Sanford & Son.

Yet, you couldn't release this show now because of screeching autistic cunts who would find it "problematic," because these children with one-dimensional minds are incapable of comprehending that portraying something isn't the same as endorsing it.
