Has the breach been confirmed anywhere?

The passwords look like they could be fake as you usually don’t see that many names used as passwords, unless this is some upper crust thing to do. Some of the passwords don’t meet standard password requirements, meaning they are either old (or Rothschild is lacking security in that area).

I just looked into it a bit and from what I'm seeing it just looks like it's a combo of old dumps. The first one I checked was out in Jan 2019. I'll check a few more, but I'm betting it's all old stuff.

Edit: Yeah, I checked about a dozen so far and it's all old. It's possible there are some goodies hiding in there somewhere, but I really doubt it. Also, they all look like pretty typical normie/boomer passwords to me. Digital security in professional environments is shit way more often than you'd probably think.

either the content got scrubbed very quickly, there was no real meat to it or the few people who did get into the emails proper are sitting on the information with the express intent of not going public with it at all.

tbh all of these scenarios are equally plausible.
