Is something other people have encountered? Or is this just a sign to quit gaming and take up hard drinking as a hobby.

@Shaka Brah pretty much nails it - about the only thing I'd add is that it isn't always about inserting fetishes, but it is always about inserting genderspecials and troons. The biggest warning sign is using words like 'queer' and 'inclusive'. There's a vast gulf between 'gay-friendly' and 'queer' nowadays, and if possible it's best to just cut that nonsense off at the pass. Don't quit gaming - hell, combine it with the hard drinking. Just avoid anyone who demands a queer, inclusive gaming group.

I was wondering if it would be at least entertaining to hear what happened to their last gaming group, if they had one, but on reflection I sincerely doubt anyone ever needs to hear another, 'I just wanted to be my authentic self and the alt-right gamergater nazis were bigots' version of events from someone clearly skipping over the parts where they and their toxic personality are the real problems.

I more or less included paraphilias in with regular weird sex stuff, because in my experience including genderspecials, troons, and gay pairings is done for fetish purposes even if it's just to wank about later. Sex might never come up ingame but then you find out that their dickgirl character has commissioned art and it all clicks into place.

Pretty amusing, but there's one part that cracks me the fuck up.

SunlessNick here is referring to Sankarah. Sankarah would later be banned from Tangency Open (in December 201, and would later catch two warnings (which, to me, seemed somewhat specious at best). The hammer would fall on Sankarah finally in September 2020, for the high crime of being employed by ICE.

I think exactly the same about the Orange Moron but his administration had literally zero effect on my actual life, which actually got better during his botched Presidency. Same with Dumbya, and I had such severe BDS that I more or less burned out whatever center of my brain used to be able to give a fuck about who is President. I don't even personally dislike Dumbya any more, and he's been pretty gracious as an ex-President.

As early back as the '80s I had a character in a gay relationship with another player's character. Neither of us were gay, nor were we in a relationship irl. Only in Clown World are things like this important. Note, there were actual in-game reasons why this happened, it wasn't just frivolous.
