Sister services, email, and search will continue to be negatively effected by the attacks. I made a thread to talk about it, if you're into networking.

I need a sanity check because I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Has anyone else noticed how despite this and Reeeeera being basically the same thread that this one is so utterly joyless? Even in the post-orange man era Reeeee's lunacy is a delight to read, whereas rpgnet and by extension this thread feels like a black hole from which no joy or happiness can ever escape, and I can't quite place why. Ridiculing rpgnet feels like ridiculing a balding, single middle manager at the IRS.

The natives are too beaten down after years and culled of all wrongthinkers that the insane, power tripping mods basically just find completely random people to stomp on with no repercussions. Meanwhile, the inmates of RetardEra are even more violently insane than the mods, who they henpeck and harass and force into endless tard "summits" to the point they cry of being suicidal and drinking themselves to death like Hecht.
It's just absolutely hilarious seeing jannies get so utterly cyber bowled, which is Reeee, instead of the vilest jannies in existence relentlessly bullying the users. That's just depressing.
There's not much to say that won't bring the mods down on you. There's only one approved opinion about the topic and you can't even crack jokes about TSR rolling a crit fail or failing a diplomacy check because it's an "A-game" thread which means Serious Discussion Only.

The problem, of course, is that there's only one approved opinion - and you have to guess what that is. Asking to be told what the approved opinion is, is the same as admitting that you don't already know it, which is the same as admitting that you could possibly hold a different one.
