That was interesting. As was an earlier comment he made regarding KJU and his sister. There was a lot said in what Trump was choosing not to say. And it says that something bad has happened to Fat Boy. And Trump and others are engaged in some polite diplomacy on the subject. Earlier comments could be seen as reaching out to the sister. There is some interesting history there. She is the only member of Kim's family to have visited South Korea and met with the South Korean President. She was largely raised and educated in Switzerland. Trump and South Korea may be choosing a bit of flattery and to not deliberately destabilize North Korea at this time, in the hope of a better relationship with whoever comes next.
Actually no. Trump is for all his flaws, fairly forth right about such things. If he had no idea regarding North Korea he would just say "I have no idea" or "we have no knowledge of that". Instead he basically said "I can't talk about that". and "Yeah we know what the deal is, but its best we don't discuss it now." The way he phrased it makes me think KJU is in some sort of health crisis, but may not be dead yet.
