RWBY - The Hindenburg on which Rooster Teeth rests its hopes, dreams and future

In my experience almost all critics of RWBY are fans of the show that have soured on it. Despite what the fans of the show think RWBY is in no way mainstream and does not appear in the popular dialogue, the only people who care enough to actually discuss it are people who either watched it and like it, or people who watched it and used to like it, or people who are fans of Rooster Teeth in a broader sense and thus are forced to know RWBY since it's RT's big property.
And then there’s us in this thread.

And yet any time RWBY makes a product placement in some movie, everyone goes "OMG! RWBY IS MAINSTREAM NOW!"

That movie was Ready Player One, right? I never saw it, but I heard a character was in there for a split second.
Yes Ruby was there for a split second but it was not big of a deal when the movie is one big slideshow of nostalgia bait and pop culture reference with a very weak fetch quest plot.

Hello my friends, I'm back from the dead (Random Dyke here)

I watched a video of the scene she's supposedly in, but it's so quick that you can't even make out who or what the low-resolution, blurry silhouette is.
Rooster Teeth yet again wasting a shit ton of money just to stay relevant and continue to jerk off to RWBY's constantly growing cult of crybabies on Twitter. lol
That and every other fictional "nerd" character on the planet for a shitty movie based off a shitty book that never referenced RWBY. Can't get more mainstream than that apparently.
The only people who could possibly like "Ready Player One" are Reddit fags in their 30's-40's who think they're "not like other adults" for owning Atari's Home Pong in 2021.

I remember a special effects YouTuber talking about this before (I think it was my boy CorderyFx), apparently the models that did make it into the movie and weren't made from scratch were models Warner Bros owned or could get easy access to. So the fact that RWBY is there is entirely coincidental.

POV: You're Warner Bros. Pictures accessing the Ruby model in your database for post-production CGI effects
