GDQ first delivered a "non-guilty" verdict because they couldn't verify the screenshots provided by our friend Cyberdemon but after the collective majority of trannies on twitter massively screaming "nazi" long enough, he received the hammer and cannot speedrun at the event. These dudes realize they're ugly and weird looking, then realize they can't fix that because they have to fashion sense, and then convince themselves they're naturally superior because of something else. Sometimes that manifests as a practical skill or using your insecurities to better yourself, but if you're lazy it manifests as racism and narcissism.

This is just said. It's pretty common knowledge that you don't apologize to these kinds of people because they'll never accept it and they'll just want more. Here was my reply to their tweet:

Why are you cucking so much for GDQ? First it was the defense of them enabling sub-only mode. Now you're apologizing and "rejecting" things you said from this year.

Why do you look up to them so much? You're never going on there again no matter how hard you apologize.

It seems like they're desperate to attend GDQ again despite saying in their famous rant "people who attend GDQ think they're cool, but they're just losers." GDQ does fuck-up after fuck-up and Goose does nothing but run defense for them.

RWG defends GDQ because he feels that's the only positive mainstream attention speedrunning has gotten. He could have started his own marathon, like The Goose Coop or something, and promoted speedrunning that way. It's obvious that GDQs just aren't working out anymore and the community hasn't been fast enough creating and promoting more of their own. RPGLimitBreak, although it's something I don't care for, was a big win for this. Now there just needs to be more for games that aren't super long RPGs.

I guess Goose just isn't big enough for that. If this continues, people will be talking about it everywhere that's about him but he doesn't control. Then we'll see what his stances on sub only chat and free speech are. Will he handle it well and make it go away, or will he get defensive and make it worse?

Goose submitted a speedlore to SGDQ this year (his signature storytelling session). He may hate almost everyone at GDQ but he would happily take the publicity.

It is for publicity's sake that Goose still has a lot of support and power in the elite (Goldeneye autist community) and speedrunning world at large. He made people famous with his YouTube videos, which makes people reluctant to kill the goose that lays the golden egg.

These screenshots of Goose's anti-Semitism and white nationalism were going around reddit for weeks before the /r/speedrun mods stopped banning anyone who mentioned them. People suspected a cover-up and the ban list was growing quickly so the mods made a sticky post where people could discuss the Goldeneye feud between Goose and Ohrami, which is a separate issue, and "related fallout", which is code for these screenshots, the thing people actually wanted to discuss.

The reaction to these white nationalist sentiments shown in the album I linked has been overwhelmingly negative on Reddit. I don't agree that he is trying to 'appease' crazy people like cyberdemon, this is an attempt to avoid being shunned by the mainstream speedrunning community.

This is among the least convincing apologies I have ever witnessed. I don't know if he half assed it or if he underestimated the reaction people would have. I shouldn't be surprised, this guy was dumb enough to say these things in public attached to his real name. He's not going to be clever enough to convince people he has changed.

so shamed speedrun youtuber apollolegend returned to youtube today, the day immediately after goose gets cooked. Coincidence? Yeah probably.

for those unaware, apollo madedrama vids about speedrunning until he a-logged billy mitchell so hard the law got involved, or that's what people assume happened. he said he's having a livestream to set the record straight but that's not nearly as funny.

ApolloLegend exposed that Billy Mitchell might have cheated his high scores, then did investigative (ie:autistic) journalism by interviewing him dressed up as the man himself. Willy, of course, tried to sue him after his scores got removed but now he's back. He's more of a weeeeeen than an A-logg really.
