I don't know about this one guys, as we've established she's only fourteen. All of us were idiots with Xanga and/or Myspace accounts when we were fourteen. The severe dehydration is sketchy as all hell, since you'd be in emergency under that circumstance. Plus, unless she just did a shitton of working out, or just refused to drink anything for over a day, not likely to happen. Hip going out for a 14 year old would require some attention as well. Gallbladders as well.

That is a possibility, but everybody went through weird phases as a kid. If she's still like this in five years, we'll have something to talk about.

That's not necessarily our job, though. We're just some strangers on the internet. Yes, we can try to talk some sense into her, but it's important to keep in mind that it's not our responsibility to change her. That's up to Salamander herself/family/friends/etc. who are directly involved in her life.

The only thing keeping me from saying something excessively rude about this person is her age. I remember having stupid hobbies and interests when I was around high school-aged that I eventually either grew out of or refined into a more mature and socially acceptable form.

I guess my advice to Salamanderkin is to enjoy this period of your life and make of it what you will, but understand the following:
- You are not otherkin.
- This all seems very important to you now but probably won't mean anything in a few years.
- By acting like a fool in a public sphere we are entitled to watch what you do and comment on it.

Honestly, all she's doing here is confirming that she's full of shit. If she openly admits that she doesn't really believe this crap and it's probably just a phase, then she really had no right to get upset and cry oppression when people call her out on it. And that "breakdown" she had was painfully fake, and an excuse to get pity points over supposed oppression that she admits is fake. I seriously hope she grows out of this.
