The blue one is from Felicity, and it is sculpted so f- weird. The one below is all paws of Felicity, and..... I have no words on how unproportionaly weird this is. All of it.
Just nearly every animation test I'm so put off by their unproportional toes and claws, I just can't overlook.
The only feet that aren't on there are from Celia and Yeshua, because they have fine-ly (kind of) proportional feet, so Fennah can do it, but for whatever reason doesn't.

It always looks like he just lazily glues on the claws last minute while modeling, the texture is far too shiny and makes it look like they're wearing nail polish lol. The feet that don't have malformed claws also look weird... it looks more like fake rubber toys than anything else. The way he textures skin is similar to laytex, again it looks far too shiny and gives the impression that the characters without fur look more like cheap plastic toy dolls. XD

They don't look like feet a creature could easily balance and support their weight on, aside from the quadruped. All the digits are different sizes, but don't follow a gradual change from big to small, they're just kind of random.

Of course, we could nitpick his shitty designs for hours. He sucks at creature design, what else is new?

Second thing I pick on beside the feet is the whole legs. Look like bones grew spastic and the thighs… the thighs have diabetes and the creature is actually thin.

The shapeshifting is the most crap thing ever from a storytelling point of view it has only faults.
So they can fake other kivs and take the appearance of them?

One thing I so very wish that he would get an editor for publishing company so he would tell Fennah how very much of a crappy shit the shapeshifting is. It’s so stupid and unlogical and everything but interesting creative or good.

Or at least change it that it takes a lot of energy or something and they can change their shape only once for a very short time and warp then back because it’s very draining physically and is mostly used for last resource on flight (except for the limb weapon thing changing).

And if that's too hard for Sammy to animate, then he probably shouldn't have made it a power all kivos have.

Here's a fucking lore fixity-do:

Kivs universally have the ability to change their shape, though for the majority of individuals this ability rapidly decays as they get older until only minor changes are possible by the time they are a mere two centuries old. After that point they are only capable of minor changes in form, though some are capable of more than others through practice or genetic advantage. Most adult kiv cannot drastically change one form of tissue into another, nor can they affect their volume nor skeletal structure by a drastic degree. Kiv children have near complete control over their form, only limited by their imagination, experience, and body mass. This also means the size of a kiv is determined by how much they were able to consume within the first two centuries of their life.​

Lucy Lacemaker, and a few other unique individuals, have seemed to never have suffered the decay of their ability to change their form, and with time have only gained experience, allowing them to change into not only completely different forms, but swarms of creatures if they so choose. This rare advantage does have its risks, as under stress is can become difficult to maintain a constant form, it can also mean that large amounts of mass can be lost if any swarms they change into are divided. It also requires them to expend great amounts of mental energy to maintain their preferred form, and many individuals with this ability go completely mad as they lose their sense of self identity. In this matter Lucy Lacemaker is notable for being a uniquely sane individual after all this time for one with such versatility and shows unusual mental fortitude in being able to maintain her preferred chosen form even under stress after these countless eons.​

Look at that, I just wrote off why Lucy can do such big flashy things, while adding some tragedy, wrote in a reason why constant shapeshifting isn't a thing, and I gave you an excuse for why Lucy isn't constantly turning into a swarm of flies. There is even a bit of a twist there, by claiming Lucy is in fact sane considering her abilities adding in the mystery of "wait, so how crazy is someone else with that level of ability?" By adding in the idea of generally not being able to change their skeletal structure nor the types of tissues they have it then explains why they don't all make themselves super intelligent, super strong, or impersonate each other constantly. It also explains why they each have such drastically unique forms. Now you could add "Then why doesn't Lucy just make herself super intelligent, super strong, or impersonate others constantly?" to which the answer is, she just doesn't want to. She is still, by any normal standard, deranged and insane, she's just sane by the standards of someone with the ability to freely shift their shape after billions of years. While it might be the logical thing to use her shape shifting that way, she's no longer a logical being.

I hate how they all have the same personality, their whole society revolves around being the strongest and the smartest and if you don't fit the mold then you get thrown out. Because of this every character has to be super wise, but based on what little we've seen of these characters, they're all just bloodthirsty maniacs with a hard on for murder. The only characters that have shown some form of intelligence is Lucy, that's cause Lucy gets shoved into everything because she's the poster child for Fennah's channel... his "fursona" so to speak and everyone's favorite character. Sombra looks old, but he hasn't had any voice lines outside of The Wall review, which doesn't count at all. Winifred is just fucking dumb, ungodly edgy for the sake of being edgy. We know nothing about Locket, she's probably just as bad as Winifred but who knows. I hate how little I know about these characters, every character has such a bland personality. It's so disappointing.

You don't need 7 billion to be wise, just a few decades, and even then... old != wise. What such old characters do introduce, which could be interesting if Sam wasn't so incompetent, is they introduce enough experience that they'd have a completely different idea of morality than humans would, and they likely wouldn't even both learning human names or care about anything about human society, as to them it would shift so frequently as to be a tedious thing to keep up to date on. They likely wouldn't even pay humans any mind. The life of a human would be like that of an ant. Not even worth giving it enough time to consider as to so much as snuffing it out, because time will do so for you.

Their "alien morality" wouldn't even likely consider the ideas of their old society anymore. It'd be a forgotten fleeting thing at their scope, unless they all lived in it for a few billion years or it recently fell, but since Fennah decided their world fell before the big bang, that means their society is likely a forgotten memory. More important to them would likely be survival at this point. Yet we see no such focus. Likely because they are virtually immortal.

Instead they talk about their laws of the strong and smart. Yet of this was true, why haven't they reaped bloody harvest yet? You can contrive a million excuses, but it doesn't hold up if you examine it closely. Their own behaviours dictate they should've wiped out or subjugated humanity by now.

Now a better writer would say they value strength and intellect, but also have come be abhorred by the idea of restricting the capabilities of others from becoming stronger or wiser. This would mean they'd spare humanity so as to enable it's growth, and actively work towards expanding our horizons.

Violence becomes a tool to measure strength, while debate and intellectual accomplishment is what determines intelligence. It's not good enough to just be stronger, you also need to be smarter. However their idea of "you need to be smart" is Fennah trying to say they are smart rather than show it at the same time as trying to claim depth beyond edgy violence. Yet when have we seen one prove their intellectual superiority over another? Even in a shallow manner? Do they value knowledge or is it how you use it that they value?

To summary all the animatics:

-Winifred is like a bitch teenage girl who thinks she's the smartest and in ongoing puberty still after 7 billion years (and I somehow like her idk maybe because she was interesting for me in Satellite City)
-Sombra is kind of wise ok I don't have much to say about him as of now
-Lucy is smart in a psychological point, as she took the time to study all the various aspects of psychology on how one behaves and so on, and she loves wisdom and wants to know as much as possible. Physicaly she's not impressive, so she at least has that kind of flaw being Sam's little one. I don't know if Sam scrapped the idea that she's unbeatable, because that would be f impossible.
-Shale is even more of a bitch than Winifred
-Felicity and Dalton kind of act like not so old, but Dalton/Shuck shows much interest in the world around him.
-Celia as far of now is interesting, but I wouldn't call her wise but rather experienced. For now she is the least sexualised (I'd consider her masochism as a trait of hers, well, her thing) and has most depth of all.
-Ludwig is well ludwig. Casual-y.
-Helgan I the fuck don't know how she got so high, with that Big tits and fat ass she'd never win a fight and gives me Karen vibes

Fennah writing reminds me of David Hopkins' comic Jack, dark edgy themes for the sake of it. Only instead of Christian furry demons that love to rape we have atheist furry aliens that love to murder. I remember back in the day people tried to fix David's comic too. It didn't go well at all. It's best to make up your own stories because Fennah's stories don't even have a good foundation to work with.
