I know historically I've shut the fuck up on the Gamergate issue as a general rule because almost everyone's tired of this crap, but when you have crap like this, well.... You can't let that level of retardation slide, so, as one of the prominent pro-GG voices we've had here, allow me to be one of the countless to say fuck this man, as he is no better than any of the people he complains loudest about. I know more serious posts tend to not go here, but I feel that this time, we can stow that just so we can properly carve this particular turkey.

For the uninitiated, about 2 or so weeks before this shitstorm brewed up, there was a lengthy, rage-filled post on KIA about the many communities devoted to covering Lolcows that, due to KIA's need to keep its beak relatively clean, it repeatedly wound up later to the party on, if not absent from said party. With Gamergate as a whole generally "over," there's been less of a need for communities like KIA save for when happenings are going on.
Unfortunately this also means that KIA's been slipping as far as relevance is concerned. This is a good thing; GG isn't as important now, but it also means that shit that normally would have been broken by KIA initially - like the Alison Rapp thing - are now getting broken by the likes of us. Moreover, we've done all their grunt-work, and they know it. We're the ones who first broke that Brianna Wu never graduated, we're the ones who first covered Alison Rapp versus Jamie Walton, and we're the ones that first dismantled a lot of the Antis' biggest memes, mostly for our own amusement. We're also the ones who took down shitheads like Homer and Wulfington too, because sometimes you gotta call out Sperging where it lies, man.
But if you're the sort of despicable motherfucker who's been into GG so as to use it to propel yourself to power, well, then it won't do for you to have groups like the Kiwi Farms digging into dirty laundry and undermining your attempts - which is exactly what happened.
You see, unbeknownst to many, Collingwood's custodianship of KIA isn't because he cares about Gamergate; rather, he's an absolute psychopathic wikisperg and long-time nemesis of his equal-and-opposite sperg Mark Bernstein, who got himself banhammered in the great war over the GG article (and if you're wondering what he did that was autistic enough to get banned by a Wikipedia Arbcom, then you'll find this especially delightful - he ate a banhammer for making thinly-veiled threats towards other Wikipedia members).
The man is a raging egomaniac who grossly overstates his own importance to the "cause."
Fuckers like Collingwood hunger for power and are just as fucking dangerous as the Social Justice Warriors they bitch about. A brief look at his work on TheGGGreatWork shows that Collingwood and his associates had a plan to front-load Wikipedia with friendly administrators, essentially take over, and do exactly what the opposition he complains about has already, because he apparently felt Ryulong was someone to emulate.
Kiwis, you should be proud of yourselves. When I first saw this subforum, I simply saw it as another Inner Circle, only with more memes and less humor. And whilst that synopsis wasn't inaccurate, my summary failed to capture the bigger hilarity that was brewing below the surface on this one.
You've accomplished something I never thought I'd see: Through the simple mocking of an idiot, you caused them to commit literally everything they had to go at a group that by all accounts, wouldn't have given a single solitary fuck if he'd have just fucked off. How much do you think this cost him? The DDOS, the long-distance calling, the many hours spent spying on this forum? I bet it was a lot. None of it would have happened if he'd just stopped.
But on he marched, proving once again the old truism that someone can be more autistic than Chris.
