Start with white bread and pick one and only one:
- mayonnaise
- american cheese
- peanut butter

Go fancy:
- fried baloney on buttered bread with ketchup (a true delicacy)
- fried peanut butter and banana (the elvis)
- PB&J (use home made strawberry jam to count as fancy)

There are many classic sandwiches but these ones come to mind first on the trash list
