While I fucking hate Scarlett Johansson's acting, and I really loath Woody Allen's movies, good for her for doubling down on this stance. It's not like she'll win any points with the media by worshiping at the altar now.

I personally don't care about Scarlett nor do I like Woody's films but it's entertaining to watch the hypocritical meltdowns that people on social media have been having for the couple of years anytime Scarlett opens her mouth. I really gotta give it to Scarlett for not giving a fuck. From the GITS role, to the tranny role, to supporting that Israeli soda brand, to wearing Weinstein's wife's clothing to defending Woody Allen.
People on twitter are going in on Scarlett for her "trash" views but where were these same people when Rihanna was showing her support of a slave/master fetish play? Were these people cancelling Nicki Minaj for dating a known rapist/sex offender and murderer and even defending her "love" for him? You notice many people do believe that Woody did some sick shit but turn around and claim Michael Jackson was "completely" innocent.
Why were people dragging Scarlett for her "yellowface" role in Ghost in the Shell (which was a robot with blue eyes) but people were saying that "race doesn't matter" when "racist bigots" were wondering why a black woman was cast as Ariel? People were dragging Scarlett for wearing Weinstein's wife's clothing brand even after the accusations that Weinstein blackmailed people to wear it but I don't remember any big outrage after Constance Wu from "Crazy Rich Asians" was caught wearing that same brand.

However, I wonder how in-depth Johnasson's chats with Allen got? After all, Mia Farrow found nude pics of the Korean girl Woody had taken when she was only 15. Somehow, he escaped a CP charge on that, but it has never been explained either. I suppose marrying her and staying married to her mitigates things a little, but he had no idea he was gonna marry her when he was getting her naked at 15...

Yeah, Allen even defended Weinstein when the story first broke. Said he felt sad for him & that it shouldn't turn into a witch hunt. Some even say that it was Weinstein that saved Allen's career.
