Anyway, I just got back from a trip with my family to Kauai, one of the eight major islands of Hawaii. And I'd like to share some of the photos I took of the place!

First up, chickens!
Apparently, there was a hurricane back in '92, and it caused the destruction of several chicken coops and the birds were spread all over the island. Since then, they are practically everywhere on Kauai.

The skinny guy on the right is me. The one on the left is my brother. The horse I was on was named "Elvis" while the other was named "Quick". Elvis was kind of an ass towards the other horses. He kept nipping at some of the other horses trying to show who's boss. He also really liked to stop and munch on the grass. He also caused me to hit a few branches. Nothing serious happened though. All that happened was I dropped my hat. All in all, I still enjoyed my time riding on him.

This is Waimea Canyon. I was told this was essentially Kauai's version of the Grand Canyon.
