Scott does benefit from being a wealthy suburban teen to produce such content often
That's what and why I like about Scott. He's into video games, but discusses aspects that people don't normally think about. Obscure games, memory cards, game packaging, used games, controllers, even launches. It's why I can never really bring myself to hate Scott or his content. Sure he may put on a persona for his videos because ofc he will, and not all of his jokes land, but his content still feels genuine and he feels honestly impassioned on any subject he talks about, even for something as simple as the fuckin' history of memory cards. And with video game YouTubers and ESPECIALLY Nintendo-based ones, that's a rarity.
I felt the same way with Jim Sterling and Angry Joe. Although I think it was more their personality and direction.Scott the Woz is alright. I watched him for like a year but then just kinda stopped caring. I don't really remember disliking anything he did, I think it was just kind of me getting sick of youtube gaming shit in general.
A lot of YouTubers cover those kind of things. Ahoy did a great video about PC game boxes, AVGN cracked a joke about character-shaped memory cards recently, and like most of LGR is about that kinda random stuff,That's what and why I like about Scott. I think Scott makes it more digestible to other people and seems to have a more positive outlook on it instead of lambasting it. LGR does the same thing to but he is definitely more interested in PC hardware and that’s what watch LGR forScott the Poz’d

LGR has a whole guide about putting old ass hardware parts into modern cases and then adding a shitload of LEDs just to play heroes of Might and Magic 3 at optimal settings.Scott the Poz’d

Nitro Rad's a pretty positive and passionate Youtube game reviewer and he also talks about more obsure games, more so than Scott IMO. Also, as much as I like Scott, a lot of his content seems....basic? I dunno about anybody else, but because I'm so well-versed in gaming history, Scott's videos covering, say, the N64, Gamecube, etc. feel like regurgitating the same shit that I've heard a million times over back at me, with a few jokes sprinkled in here and there. The shovelware collections, E3 retrospectives, and memory card video, now, he needs to do more stuff like THAT. Those are why I'm subbed to the dude.I think Scott makes it more digestible to other people and seems to have a more positive outlook on it instead of lambasting it. My only issue with Nitro Rad is that he seems to primarily cover obscure PlayStation games and my rule of thumb is that most PlayStation reviewers seem to turn into cows in their own ways(Cadicarrus is the best example I can think of, he had a weird sperg out on twitter where he was threating his wife's daughter's bullys in school). I think Scott tends to talk about the more mainstream stuff in a passionate way, it's kinda his actual opinion on it rather than stuff he blindly follows because someone told him too. I think the N64 video is the best example, where he said that N64 is primarily a racing game console and a platformer console. When he brought that up, I remembered that my brother's N64 collection consisted of racing games the most, so that to me is kinda funny and true, but nobody really talks about the arcade racer on the N64.Nitro Rad's a pretty positive and passionate Youtube game reviewer and he also talks about more obsure games, more so than Scott IMO. To be fair, I don't think James (Nitro Rad) is the type of person who'd turn into a cow. Dude seems pretty damn chill. Elaborate, please? This is news to me (although it's because I don't follow his Twitter). Although, I wouldn't be surprised - Caddicarus' quality has gone a bit downhill in my eyes (*cough* Shadow Man PS1 review *cough*) and I mostly watch his newer videos as a nostalgic guilty pleasure nowadays.Cadicarrus is the best example I can think of, he had a weird sperg out on twitter where he was threating his wife's daughter's bullys in school

There he is, my favorite virgin who talks about stupid nintendo games.
He filled a hole whenJontron diedold jontron died.
Can you easily clean the cartridges if dust got inside? For NES and SNES games, they came with plastic sleeves for the carts (snes dropped them around 1994) so many retards just tossed the box and manual in the trash. Concordantly as soon as kids took off for college their parents shelved their stuff in the attic/basement and if the boxes got in the way of space, off they went.
I can't find the tweet anymore (guy has 12,00 tweets holy fuck) , but I recall watching metokur or some other youtuber making fun of him for tweeting to a 6 year old kid a couple of years back. Either way, they guy is a borderline cow imo and he needs to stop tweeting like he's on his death bed.Elaborate, please? This is news to me (although it's because I don't follow his Twitter). These days finding torx and gamebit screwdrivers or bits is easier, you can buy a whole bunch of different widths and go to town. Although dust doesn't usually gather inside the main cart encasing, and I'm also including fatass big carts like neogeo AVS. A qtip with rubbing alcohol is usually enough. Can you easily clean the cartridges if dust got inside?
I think the outro music has been a meme for awhile now. The volume is one thing, but its impromptu-ness makes for a decent cutaway for a usually goofy or awkward ending quip.Little nitpick I have: his ending music can be quite loud and sudden.
