A knife up close is more deadly then a gun. Shooting someone in the arm or leg may not stop them from killing you or you can kill them even though it is a flesh wound. Shooting in the leg can sever the femoral artery. Plenty of videos out there showing the consequences of that. Also videos of people being shot in the leg and it barely affecting their movement. Tazers against a knife wielder is a invite to death for the tazer wielder unless there are others armed with guns to instantly fire if the tazer fails.
This is a prime example of why a knife wielder is very deadly.
Without the body cam activists would have labeled this officer as a murderer. In fact a number still did just not as publicly as without the body camera.

Doesn't matter what labels you carry. If you brandish a weapon at an officer and refuse to drop it when they ask you to, you're probably going to get shot.
Every time some freak comes near a cop with a weapon and doesn't listen when the cop tells them to drop it, we always have to feel bad for the guy who chose to ignore orders. Then they blame it on a phobia or an ism. If you keep walking towards them you deserve what you get and it has nothing to do with your being trans.
