I know this is super obvious and has been said about a thousand times before but it's still really baffling to me how he's so blatant about this. How is he not ashamed?

While he occasionally tells his Twitter followers that he lives with his mum, he doesn't tell them that he's in his mid-30s and has never had a job. To put together all of the various pieces of information which reveal Jake's life, you'd have to read an awful lot of his Tweets - and ain't nobody got time for that. If anyone does ask a question trying to clarify conflicting information, he just dismisses them as a "nazi" and blocks them.

While Jake really does view himself as a victim, part of his motive for denying his true identity is based around knowing he'd lose supporters if his followers accepted the truth. "Nazis" aren't a direct threat to Jake in any way - as evidenced by him not having received so much as an unwanted pizza since he was doxed - but they are a potential threat to his credibility and he knows it.

Jake's Twitter followers must be slow in the head (to paraphrase the late Julie Terryberry). Jake states that his Patreon--which is $188/month--is his sole income. Obviously "food+rent+internet+2 cats' food and vet bills+the other various little things needed to live in" > $188/month. So how then does Jake pay for all those things?

Presumably this is his theoretical amount that would allow him to move out and live happily ever after as a princess since Chelsea hasn't come and rescued him from the castle yet. You know, so he wouldn't be in his "unsafe" living condition anymore.

I don't mind respecting pronouns to the extent that I'll even call Brianna Wu a woman, but when I see people refer to Jake as a woman, I spend a few seconds being genuinely confused as to who is being discussed.
