Wait now....I don't know about Portland, but I have a friend that lives in the Bay Area and he said that while us folk up North are getting freezing temps, San Francisco is getting the nicest summer-like weather of the year. Why the fuck would he even need winter gear? Expensive winter gear, no less.

If you are really worried about having burned one too many bridges and having to spend some time outside during the winter, go a Surplus shop spend $20 on a M65 with the winter lining and another $10 on a cheep bed roll an you'll be set.

OR you could stop spending your money on asinine tattoos find a cheep apartment to live in, but we all know that isn't going to happen so it looks like your going to freeze this winter.

Aye, and as I stated before, changing clothes is important in the cold. We know Phil doesn't change his sweaty clothes, which makes cotton so much worse in winter. Phil's hygiene, when combined with winter, may well be what kills him. He's breaking so many rules about living outside in the frigid cold.

All that leather bondage crap he wears can't be that warm. He's somehow managed to survive wearing it all fucking summer.

Human body fat is a bad insulator, although it can give you heat stroke more easily it cannot assist with cold (brown fat can produce heat but that is something different and probably too metabolically active for Phil)

Guess it makes sense why Phil would want some for himself if that is the case.
