No need to worry about that.If I ever have a kid

That was an hoax, IIRC.Wasn't one of Elmo's puppeteers outed as a literal pedo years back? No shock coming from Berg-funded propaganda. Wonder when Sesame Street will actually get progressive and show a puppet of Muhammed visiting the two dads.
They're fucking puppets.(not counting Bert and Ernie, of course).
That was an hoax, IIRC.
Yeah, it's not exactly surprising and bound to get far, far worse. No shock coming from Berg-funded propaganda.
The political culture of the late 1960s found its way into children’s programming with the creation of Sesame Street, a show that reflected progressive themes such as ecology and multiculturalism. The show’s Jewish writers included musical satirist Tom Lehrer, former Caesar’s Hour scribe Gary Belkin, and future National Lampoon writer (and son of humorist Bennett Cerf) Christopher Cerf.
And, as Moshe Waldoks and William Novak relate in The Big Book of Jewish Humor, some of the show’s Ernie and Bert sketches were reworkings of traditional Jewish jokes, such as the following:
Reb Isaac and Reb Jacob were fundraisers for competing yeshivas. Finding themselves having tea together at the home of a wealthy benefactor, they soon became involved in an intricate discussion of talmudic law, and were interrupted only by the arrival of the hostess, who brought their tea. A moment later she returned with a platter containing two cookies. Both cookies were substantial, but one was considerably larger than the other.
Observing the rules of etiquette, both men continued talking, and did their best to ignore the cookies. But before long Reb Isaac reached over and grabbed the larger cookie, devouring it in three swift bites.
Reb Jacob looked on in astonishment. “I can’t understand this,” he said. “How can a great scholar like you be so ignorant of table manners?”
Reb Isaac looked surprised. “Wait a minute,” he said. “What would you have done in my place?”
“What any gentleman would have done,” replied Reb Jacob. “I would have taken the smaller cookie.”
“So what are you getting excited about?” replied Reb Isaac with a grin. “Isn’t that what you got?”
Don't worry, in five years they'll come up with an even worse flag and you'll beg them to bring back the fugly one at the top. And they'll scream about how the old rainbow flag is a Nazi symbol or something.
Well, with the rise of artificial wombs, gay men and incels alike can now have children without the now obsolete ingredient that neither of them touch.
You're talking about a children's programming show that largely takes place in an urban setting. Albeit sanitized for obvious reasons.Yeah, it's not exactly surprising and bound to get far, far worse.
Also, related:
Still a vehicle for progressives to indoctrinate children--whether they're raised in the city or the middle of nowhere--with their particular worldview. You're talking about a children's programming show that largely takes place in an urban setting. Albeit sanitized for obvious reasons.
Actually that might have already happened, depending on your opinion of these flags:It's gonna happen. A flag can only be so inclusive and the requirements change every five minutes.Eventually someone's going to get triggered and we'll be graced with an even stupider looking flag.
Has anyone made a straight flag? Even for lulz?
In this particular case, I found the implementation harmless but smartly illustrates the lesson of family and love.Still a vehicle for progressives to indoctrinate children--whether they're raised in the city or the middle of nowhere--with their particular worldview.
Personally, it doesn't overstay its welcome, it doesn't go into degeneracy with sex, it's not preachy. I can take it. (Granted, I'm not the intended audience.) Sesame Street has been "progressive" before with interracial relationships and diversity in the 20th century. They could've left it at "some families have two moms, two dads." But no, they kept going.
Then you are wilfully blind.I do not see it with this depiction.
Yeah, if I had to choose between this and Blue's Clues, I'd pick this. At least, for now, Sesame Street isn't teaching prepubescent kids about sex or sexuality, just that some families have parents of the same gender who love each other just like a mommy and daddy would.Honestly, I'm just thankful it isn't some predatory gender insanity. I take two dads in some faggot show any day compared to kids being put to listen some pedophile wearing women's clothing.
I understand what you mean, and I agree, but the slippery slope is not a fallacy and I bet they'll go into degeneracy within the decade...In this particular case, I found the implementation harmless but smartly illustrates the lesson of family and love.
As I said with the Blue's Clues thread:

I understand the fervor from the Blue's Clues spectacle. But, I do not see it with this depiction.

I was expecting far worse just from it getting moved to HBO.Honestly, I'm just thankful it isn't some predatory gender insanity. I take two dads in some faggot show any day compared to kids being put to listen some pedophile wearing women's clothing.
That's a very, very, very low bar.Somehow, Sesame Street communicated LGBT+ relationships better than Blue's Clues. I love the theme about "Family Day." Families love each other. And I've felt they handled same sex parents well given the target audience.
I've watched the clip. The hammed up acting and voices is too much for me, but it's tolerable. The Big Bird granny subplot is heartwarming.
The SWI flag looks like the logo for the Umbrella Corporation from Resident Evil, which is perfectly appropriate for them.Actually that might have already happened, depending on your opinion of these flags:

The yellow field and purple O is intersex and the red umbrella is sex worker inclusive. In case nobody knows. But honestly, it's not too bad, I'd give it a pass.
And as for heterosexual flags, there are a couple of designs. They're honestly kinda boring.

So far, it's the ONLY bar with children's programming. That's a very, very, very low bar.
