He definitely won't be able to win back those who left, but there is still a surprisingly big(ish) number of more die-hard fans that still continue to defend and rationalize what he's done (sexually harassing minors and animals is just an honest mistake, everybody! no one's perfect and he's apologized!) and will watch and support him if he ever comes back.
Also when he comes back there will be a huge influx of drama channels covering it and people talking about him again which will just get more people watching his videos again and giving him money. I don't think his career is anywhere near over, sadly. I think the only thing he can do to save face is wait for people to forget.

I will say that I’m surprised Trisha chose to finally leave Shane on the hill he’s chose to die on (ala operation kiss jefree stars ass for that sweet coin). The man is a millionaire and working with Jeffree Star for cash. At this point he should just stay behind the scenes and keep collecting his money while Ryland gets to play on his podcast for attention. If he was smart and not such a dramacow passing off Trisha would be the last straw to start fresh and not bother coming back.

Trisha went on H3H3's 'Frenemies' podcast (where they apparently are just chattin' back and forth or smth). Call me soft, but I actually felt bad for her during this, she sounds genuinely hurt and betrayed. No surprises in terms of the content, though, just her confirming what everyone guessed: Shane doesn't actually like Jeffrey but is scared and is willing to fuck over actual connections in his life bc he's a scared lil boy lmao

- She claims she never told Shane or Ryland to disconnect from Jeffrey - instead, they insisted they needed to 'slowly distance themselves from him', they then go on their podcast to promote Jeffrey which upsets Trisha. He claims that 'Jeffrey was the only loyal one, so I have to support him', which is.... blatantly false. I actually have to hand it to Trisha on this - she was loyal to him in a way I doubt he will ever experience again, esp from the 'entertainment' crowd
- They apparently told her to not make any videos on Jeffrey. She says that she thinks Shane did this to protect her from Jeffrey
- Shane apparently called Jeffrey 'a mean girl' like in the movies. Obvious he kept a completely different front with Jeffrey, but I assume Jeffrey knew? You can't be as fake as him and not expect people like Shane to also be fake
- I guess there was a made a video on Jeffrey, I haven't watched it, but that is apparently the catalyst for a lot of this drama. It confirmed a lot of things Trisha had been saying for years, and in response to that Shane apparently said "I just didn't want to believe what you said was true about Jeffrey"
- Trisha pointing out some of Jeffrey's past mistakes like "throwing acid on an n-word" and that he "needed Shane" because Shane was doing PR for a lot of other controversial figures at the time - Tana Mongeau, Jake Paul etc. She says "Jeffrey needed Shane" and Shane was in it for the money so they do the palette. No surprises there lmao
- Shane, after Jeffrey drama, texted Trisha with an apology and tried to get her to act like it'd never happened, which she refused
- She names a DJ (Oscar Wild(e?)) who apparently heard Jeffrey say in June or July when Shane was being canceled: "Ugh how do I cut ties with him, he's ruining my brand"
- Ethan brings up "he's told you he thinks he's vile"
- Gabbie Hannah said that Shane was the one who told her Trisha has herpes
- Shane didn't check up on Trisha until after Trisha mentioned him and Ryland as being part of the whole scene
- Trisha insists "this isn't the Shane I knew" and she "hopes he wakes up"
- Jeffrey straight up lied about how much the palette would make, and Shane admits it
- Ethan makes a solid point about how Shane felt the need to be such a bad friend to Trisha to win this man's approval. Ethan seems more personally offended than Trisha, who actually seemed fairly reasonable throughout the video from my perspective (well, like, mentally ill reasonable - there's always gonna be exaggeration but knowing what we know about Jeffrey and Shane it all seems fairly likely)

He even read the email out loud about the high school friend and didn't even edit out the email reading where it was clear in the mention that the uncle molested the guy. He stopped reading the email, but it was obvious. Why include that at all? The whole thing felt exploitative. I'm just glad someone else thinks this way because nobody called him on it when it came out. Then he turned it into a "I'm meeting an old high school friend" in the part 2 video. WTF. That was the start of his annoying "I'm doing quirky things with friends" videos that I couldn't stand.
Speaking of annoying Shane videos, remember the drama with Bobby where he hired him to film videos for him? Everyone kept calling him a hater. I've always thought that Shane set it up and told him to film a hate video on him just so he could use it for his advantage, just to make himself look all kind and decent. "Look how nice Shane is. He'll be friendly to a person who doesn't like him and buy him a car. He's so nice."
I've always thought he arranged it and I think it even more now.
That whole Bobby situation was super weird, whether he asked Bobby to make the video or not, Shane definitely spun it to make himself look better and got himself a lot of views and made his fanbase love him for how "kind" he was. There's also the fact he kinda destroyed Bobby's career by setting him up for failure by bringing him out to LA with his own spot on the channel (which fell through after 3-4 weeks), buying him a car which he had to make probably expensive insurance payments on, he had to live in LA which was too expensive and made him lose his girlfriend and lose money, brought his cult like fanbase to Bobby's channel which hated him, etc. I think that's when I really noticed Shane was kinda a sketchy guy, he outright killed someone's channel and almost nobody looked at him suspiciously or weird after it, he got easy views and his fans loved him even more and all it costed him was a car, but he's stupidly rich (definitely not poor like he wants us to believe) so that was nothing.
