Kissing Jstar's ass is a pathetic waste of time. Anybody with half a brain can see that he's a snake that'll fuck over anyone if it's convenient and why be afraid? The people he attacks usually get a lot of sympathy.

Shane's never been one to keep friends for long. Back in the early days of his fame, he had a pretty decent circle of friends via people like the Fine Bros (when they were still doing sketch comedy, that is), theoriginaltyler, KatSketch, Brittany Taylor, and so on. Of course, once their fame dried up and Shane's didn't, he opted to hang out with more "problematic" people.
I won't lie, I used to follow Shane back when I was a blissfully ignorant teenager and his entire story had me hooked: dude was fat but managed to lose weight, he was open about his dysfunctional family relationships, there was always some underlying message of overcoming hardships even in the thick of his stupidest sketches, and so on. I legit felt bad for him when his grandma died, when he came out of the closet and was open about his struggles with his sexuality, and so on.
It just seems like a real shame that all that sympathy was wasted on someone who literally let his fleeting fame get to his head.

I was a fan of Bobby way before the shane stuff, it made me incredibly angry that he described Bobby as a"hater". He wasn't a hater. He was calling him out for good reasons, shane painting that narrative on Bobby was fucking gross.
I really hope if shane comes back he gets the type of energy onision gets. He's really not any better.

As much as I detest Shane, I staunchly maintain that Greg is infinitely worse in every capacity. Shane is undoubtedly an unequivocally awful person, but again: he's not the one staring down damning allegations of grooming and statutory rape backed by overwhelming amounts of evidence. Also, Shane's not the one facing an FBI investigation or an entire Discovery documentary series.
In that regard, I really hope for a Bobby Burns come back. Bobby Burns 6.0. I really loved his content, and he introduced me to Reviewbrah! He was a rising star, so it's very sad to see him fall.

But I would say shane "jokingly" being sexual with kids is just as inappropriate as onision. I mean the sex talk with his cousin? What about the random little boys he fed dick cookies to? What about asking 16 years olds to "show their best orgasm face"?

Ok, so I'm not at all denying that Shane is garbage ... However, I am so sick and tired of YouTubers making ten thousand videos about him every week, while claiming to be morally righteous. It comes across as obsessive and creatively bankrupt.

Shane Dawson made a brief return to the internet on Instagram a few days ago on April 20th to also talk about mental health and write out the suicide hotline.
I get the message itself is important, because who knows who needs the hotline at that moment in time? But the mental health excuse feels manipulative coming from Shane. It seems like he's trying to turn the fact that he was called out for being a racist, pedophilic weirdo who makes out with animals into a "sadboi feel-bad-for-the-empath" moment before hitting the Youtube scene again. I wonder if he's coming back sooner than later?
