I think damn near everyone watching this train wreck are legitimately concerned for the kids. Are the reaction channels exploiting this for views? Most likely. Is that gross? Probably. However, those people would not be able to do that if Shanny and Rev were not neglecting, abusing and exploiting those kids for the entire world to see.

They made that disgusting ‘porn’. Shanny admitted to being a “hooker” on stream. That stuff is undoubtedly going around the kids school.

Shanny & Rev are the bad guys here, NOT reaction channels (no matter how distasteful we find this particular content).

My stables have stalls for many slimeballs; I don't think it has to be an either/or proposition on who the bad guy is, though I would personally rank Shanny and Rev as worse than the vultures circling them.

There may be implications for free speech but I'm not really touching on that: I can believe people shouldn't be deplatformed and still identify people's obvious less-than-sterling motivations and make fun of their faux do-gooder bullshit while they peddle lurid content for a rubber-necking audience. As we all know, free speech doesn't make you immune to scrutiny and criticism.

I'm sure at some level they do care in the vague way that people care about children who aren't their own being harmed; but there are some mercenary competing interests that they're willing to let override that care. I've been watching the reactors — all of them: Haydur, Anti, old guard YouTube atheist/skeptic — kick and scream on Twitter and YouTube for the past 24 hours over the mere suggestion that they should limit their coverage and treat this with exquisite delicacy to protect the children whose welfare they claim drives all their choices in coverage. And one of their explicit arguments is that they're "bringing awareness" or "helping the children." No they aren't. People who weren't aware are now. Their re-broadcasts have no positive impact to influence the children's day-to-day life nor will they. They're milking it for clicks and coin.

Until now (when I acknowledged I think they're slimeballs above) I wasn't even arguing whether that's right or wrong: I'm saying that's objectively true and it's at odds with some of their other claims to make the children's welfare paramount. That's all. Maybe I'm wrong to think it's a bit slimy, maybe it's okay and maybe clicks and coin should drive this like any story that doesn't involve abused children. Even if that's right and I'm wrong on my private ethical judgment, I don't have to argue the ethics of it to see the lapses in their internal logic and how those lapses help to objectively reveal their actual primary commitments — and it isn't SaViNg ThE cHiLdReN as they claim it is. That's all.

Did anyone else notice how sparse the older boys room (William) was in comparison to the younger kids room? The younger boy had toys and stuffed animals. I didn’t see anything like that in the first room. Both kids are treated disgustingly, but one poor little guy seems to be even more maltreated.

Often in cases of child neglect with siblings the elder will instinctively start exhibiting caregiving behaviors for the younger ones, like giving them their toys, food ect.

It was in last night's "I'm Tired" stream. To the best of my memory, that chatter occurs within the first 30-60 minutes. Rev is doing his usual spastic running commentary in the background and mentions it several times.

Shanny has been a personal cow of mine for years. This thread does not even scratch the surface of the amount of white trash that is her internet career. How her first marriage ended, fun times with Brett Keane, the G-man saga, just the fact that some how some way she still has a Youtube channel despite the amount cancel-worthy shit she has repeatedly done. They both deserve this to be as humiliating and drawn out as possible. Really hope those kids get taken soon.

I work for a property management company handling the accounts and do the paperwork and legal legwork of working with our lawyer for evictions. First - the eviction doesn't go through as soon as the notice expires. OH NO. A tenant who has not paid up and not vacated at the end of the 10 days (14 for my state) is JUST the beginning of an often lengthy and exhausting legal battle. While COVID has prevented the eviction of all section 8 tenants who are behind, regular old scumbags like Shanny and Rev are at the mercy of their local jurisdictions.

In a perfect world, their landlord would send them the 10 day notice served by a sheriff after the first 2 weeks - 2 months of nonpayment. At the end of the 10 days, the notice goes to the landlord's lawyer who files for a court summons. A trial date is set and Shanny and Rev would again be served by the sheriff. If they didn't show up, the judge would grant an execution (which can sit on their desks unsigned for days to weeks) and then they would be served again and told that they have a day or two to vacate the premise or be physically forced out by the landlord with the sheriff and a locksmith. That is where they were at when they fled the apartment.

At best you're looking at weeks with repeated notice of the eviction in process but if Shanny and Rev decided to fight the eviction, this could have dragged on for months. They could claim all sorts of issues with the apartment in order to cause a need for more hearings to be scheduled. Even things they themselves caused like a bug or rat infestation and further contributed to by leaving trash around and refusing to let any exterminators in to deal with the problem. They may have even been awarded money off their balance if the judge had any sympathy for them. They could go on a payment plan in mediation and pay for a little while before blowing their landlord off causing them to have to be served and brought back to court all over again. Because of COVID and the courts in most places being closed for months, getting a hearing right now takes a little longer than usual and there is a greater pressure on landlords to work things out and try to recoup their losses instead of following through with the eviction.

At any point, they could have paid up and avoided the eviction. They could have worked things out and paid a little more each month until the balance was satisfied in order to keep their house. A landlord renting at $3,000/month isn't going to wait around to start the eviction process as long as courts are open so I'm guessing Shanny and Rev gave them a hard time and spent months doing fuck all in order to get kicked out with a balance as high as theirs.

Covid has fucked a lot of landlords. My landlord has been trying to evict a cunt neighbour since July last year but because of the eviction ban in my country she's still sat in there and hasn't paid a penny since July. her house fucking stinks like a barn, if I've got my window open and she has hers open i can smell it. I also witnessed her daughters going in to clean up, they were using a garden spade to either brush shit onto or scrape shit up. People are fucking gross. As a renter i sometime struggle to feel for landlords but situations like these make me sympathetic.

Jason is a huge piece of shit, but I always remember that Shanny with her non-existent medical training had Jason, a functional alcoholic, quit alcohol cold turkey. For those who don't know, that's a dangerous course of action. Alcoholics need medical supervision when they quit booze or they run the risk of developing Wernicke-Korsakoff Syndrome, or "Wet Brain". Watching old videos of the two of them from that period are really chilling. (The "Revalina" vids come to mind), as you can clearly see how ill Jason is. He's a prick who needs to be away from her and her kids, but the bitch did give him permanent brain damage and helped spend his inheritance. In short, fuck both Shanny and Rev. The kids and the pets need to be in a better situation.

As for the block of coverage about this, I could care less if the channels make money off her shitshow. She deserves the hate she gets and more besides.
