She-Ra and the Princess of Power - sjw bad animation reboot of shera

Don't really know who asked for a reboot of she-ra of all things, it was not a really good cartoon and I didn't think where was a large enough fanbase to try and capitalize about it. But... why not I guess...
But eh... guess these last few years have been all about reboots and franchises from the 90's. And few of them have been really good. Except Ducktales which is really a good reboot and maybe the new season of Samurai Jack which was... decent.

The animation in this new She-ra cartoon seems... decent too. It doesn't really scream originality at all, it seems like a bunch of styles put together more or less. I kinda lika the design of the characters (especially the black archer, a step up from the original character model in my opinion... he was funny to look at and memorable because of the sheer stupidity of his look but it was not a good design at all let's be honest) even if the pink haired girl is a bit weird to look at...
But overall I found the style to be quite flat, basic... the linework is maybe a bit to clean is some areas, and in some other areas a bit too sloppy (look at the picture with the cat girl... the characters have really clean lines but in constrast the fence they lean on has much more scruffy, big, lines so it's a bit weird to look at). The colors are also very flat and it lacks some sort of flare. It doesn't really pop to the eye. It's just... there.

So yeah... it's not bad... But it doesn't really stands out either.
It does the job.

Why does the main female protaganist look like a barely passable troon when they turn their powers on?
That was the only thing that bothered me. I mean BBAD is still going to hate it (Eek! You can see her thighs! Eeek!) so why not go more magical girl type rather than androgynous troon?

Otherwise the designs are at least better than O.K. K.O, that terrible looking Thundercats thing, etc. Honestly it looks like they’re going for the Netflix Voltron fan group.

Edit:
But eh... guess these last few years have been all about reboots and franchises from the 90's. And few of them have been really good.
Pretty sure She-ra and He-man were 80’s series. I blame Stranger Things for the reboots of shit series from the 80’s being done.

Also this is apparently She-ra and the Princesses of Power rather than She-ra the Princess of Power (I only learned the full name when googling to see if it was an 80’s or 90’s cartoon) so I’d guess they’re also going for the MLP:FiM fanbase.

I was a fan of She-Ra as a kid, so there's a disconnect here for me. On one hand, she looks younger so it fits the audience better than the old one, I guess? On the other, I'm not sure what to say about the misshapen blob-block people for an action-driven series. Something-something female power fantasy.

I'll watch an episode just to see how awkward it gets.

I always need my daily reminder if things that suck (IMHO), so I'm subscribed to that asshole, now. Also, I don't care for She-Ra, or especially this reboot due out soon. It really feels like just more SJW trash no one needs to deal with daily (e.g.: the same SHITE ruining comic books right now.).

I'm sure the mary sue and polygon will be happy that they can write a couple of puff piece articles about how she-ra is great and how the internet is terrible for thinking it looks bad and calling the author a dyke or somesuch.
This is important news so I am glad people will click on it rather than read a boring article about murder, sqaulor or some other not as important bad thing.
