I just quit the worst job I've worked in ages today. This one was a real winner; asshole clueless know-it-all boss, dipshit lifer employees who got away with murder, unreasonable expectations, rock-bottom pay, huge turnover. Even the chairs were fucking uncomfortable.

I worked in a factory once. It was hot, humid, and dangerous. 99% of the other employees were ex-convicts and if anyone else there spoke English I never found out about it. (which didn't really matter because the noise was so loud that you'd never be able to hear anyone anyway.) The shift schedule was 8.5 hours a day for 7 days a week, then you'd get 2 days off. It was in an industrial area (of course) so your morning commute took you past some of the most foul smelling businesses you can imagine.

I hung in for 6 months because it paid really well. I would say that quitting that job was one of the happiest moments of my life, but really it was the morning after when I woke up and remembered that I never had to go back there again.

Imagine this: you wake up every day at 3:45 am, leave the house at 4:15, an drive for an hour and a half to an empty field in the middle of Nebraska. You set up a hunting blind. It's February, and according to the Kestrel the current temperature is -22.8 Celsius. You go into the blind. You sit for the 6-8 hours, moving as little as possible, because any movement makes noise and it'll scare away what you're trying to observe. Your extremities go numb. You never pee. After 7 hours you emerge. You drive back home. You spend an hour tending to your equipment. You spend another 4 hours processing data. You go to bed. You have done this for a month, and have another month and a half to go. You get paid a whopping $24 a day for the privilege of doing this.

It's hard for you bc you always feel bad for them and their family, you'll get used to this feeling in 1-2 years. Rеtarded boys has sexual desire and great strenght and will try to hump any female nurse or doctor. Or they'll fap in public. Or shit\piss themself.
But you can't do anything because, tbh, what can you do? They are rеtarded kids, they won't understand anything.

Part time Ham Strip Fluffer (actual job title) in a Jack in the box. In at the crack of dawn and spending 4 hours opening and the separating endless individual packets of freezing mashed together ham strips and putting them in little paper boats for breakfast sandwiches. Frozen fingers, dripping nose from the walk-in, sore feet and back from standing in one place on a tile floor most of the time no free meal because part time. It was hell to me as a kid.

Obviously there are worse jobs out there, but the worst one I had was working for Kmart in my late teens to early 20s. Pretty much every check mark you can list for shitty retail stereotypes was ticked off. Holy shit this place was the worst.

You had your pinhead managers who abided by the Tao of "too many cooks in the kitchen" where one would tell you what they wanted, and five minutes later another manager would come up, start yelling at the team for not doing what they wanted, and five minutes later a third manager would do the same thing.

You had old boomer lifers who had been there since Eisenhower was president that got away with doing fuck all, most of them still couldn't figure out the basics of their job when actually made to work so the younger ones kept getting pulled away from their job to tard wrangle the old folks.

Hours would get cut on a whim. You could go from 30+ a week to four hours a week. Managers clearly played favorites so it didn't matter how hard you worked and how much effort you put in, the brown nosers got the lion's share of hours. Needing time off, even when an emergency was taking place was severely frowned on. They made a cashier cry because her mother had a massive stroke, she left for the hospital immediately and they told her that "she must not care about her job or representing the company very much"

Nothing was ever good enough. Each freight crew associate was expected to process and stock 300 boxes an hour, on top of assisting customers and tard wrangling the boomer lifers. Jobs were openly threatened if they couldn't make quota. If by some miracle a few made it, managers would just say "why didn't you get more done?"

On top of asshole, trashy customers all day, the job just sucked the life out of you. The work wasn't difficult, but it was the most negative, thankless environment I've ever worked in. Frankly part of me takes a bit of joy seeing Kmart swirl down the shitter.

This rings some bells for my wife.
She works as a teacher and her first two years was as Special Ed.
Since she's young, attractive and very nice, more than one special kid made her romantic confessions. Nothing that bad happened tho.

Hospital my relative worked in was for kids who are unable to learn, and most of them barely speak, so working with 10+yo boys was a disaster. There were no rape or anything bad too, but working with kids who try to hump\get their hands under skirt, so thats nasty and stressful
