Shuldnt Chris have hated Sailor Moon? -

From what I understand the first story line of Sailor Moon ended with everyone getting killed (even if they didn't stay dead) and characters tended to die a lot throughout the series. Can some one more knowledgeable about the series correct me if I'm wrong.

Chris hates any thing were there's ever any tragedy or heroes getting killed off. So surely this should have rubbed Chris the wrong way even if the deaths were only temporary? Or did the fact that Megan liked it completely override his own personal taste on the subject?

Well, the main characters did tend to get resurrected time and time again. And as pointed out here:

They eliminated the homosexuality in the series. I actually think Chris watched the sub rather than the dub, if only because I got the impression that Megan tended to prefer subs, and so Chris copied her. Isn't he constantly bitching about those "uncut" DVDs? The Japanese version also has a bit more in the way of nudity (the transformation sequences in the original had lines showing their breasts and generally implying they're naked, more so than the dub version, which were cleaned up a bit and look more like silhouettes), and yes, girls in short skirts, so on that alone I could see Chris liking it. I think all the elements that Chris likes are there, and the more serious or dark themes he either ignores or just doesn't notice, because in the end the good guys win, and that's what Chris is concerned with.

Both of those makea lot of sense. He's been known to get things without even bothering once to actually watch/play them. Or even apparently gets paid dlc for games he doesn't even own.

Yeah, but it's the PRINCIPAL of the thing, man! Megan was supposed to make with the hanky panky when she got those DVDs!
