I have no idea where the fuck this belongs, if it's in games, lolcows, community watch, whatever. I trust a mod will find the right place if people disagree.

However, what has been making the rounds are rather.. questionable recent edits to an article on the page of a character from Silent Hill 4, namely that about male circumcision.

Spoiler: an except, too long to fit in one ShareX snag

After people attempted to get the article back on track, it quickly became apparent that the person behind these edits was infact one of the admins of the wiki, and as such nobody can actually make the changes back to normal stick. Instead a massive clusterfuck of arguing, chemtrails level conspiracy theories, and complete batshit lunacy has taken hold as the site slowly unravels.

• Persona series (especially 3, 4 and 5)

I wouldn't say Silent Hill is unique, but it's definitely the most blatant and obvious wake up call for Americans in the 21st century.
