Because it's ironic since this guy is (or was if he doesn't do game reviews anymore) an "angry" critic. Outside of the foul-mouthed critic shtick, his only claim to fame aside from what Katsu mentioned may as well also be his feud towards IrateGamer and some videos he made about Gamestop.
Don't forget the feuds he had against his idols that he'd eventually turn on.
Because it's the internet, of course people won't be silent. Especially if they're doing the "Angry reviewer/commentator" shtick.
I enjoyed his ED article back in the day, but never really followed his content. I did watch his Action 52 review a few months ago but I find it pretty lame except for the window joke.

Did anyone save the video where he got mad at his subscribers for complaining about the fact that you had to pay him to see ANY of his website?

I've seen enough of Rob's content, his "reviews" from a decade ago were mostly run of the mill stuff from back then. Angry reviewing, swearing. He actually got into a slapfight with AkewsticRockR or whatever it's spelled (where is he now? feels like he fucked off from the internet), because that guy criticized him for swearing past the point of humor. There was also some other slapfight with TheArchfiend, which really went nowhere. I'm not even sure what that was about, but TheArchfiend is one of those faggots with an annoying voice that would get passive aggressive with comments that were critical of him. He'd leave responses like "Thank$ for watching" to critics before blocking them.
Back on topic, Rob himself isn't much of a lolcow. He had drama with other people in the past, including another "reviewer" from back in the day named Grumpy Gamer Bitch which involved threats of doxing her, and since returning in 2014 he did have a few other feuds. Namely with AlphaOmegasin, and DrunkenPunk (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhUbzuV12qo), but nothing made him worth laughing at more than the $5 site.

Given the MLP shirt and the fact some of his more popular videos were the brony rants, I'm inclined to say yes.
I do know his full name to be Rob Lowe and that he lives somewhere in Iowa. For a few years, he was staying away from YouTube videos but one day actually put up his real Facebook showing the dox. This was like between 2014 and 2017.
But then he came back and clearly had nothing new to add. He has no effects, no gloss, no post production. It's just him calling viewers "Bitches" and one side ranting about things like its 2007.
