1. To paint or draw the likeness of.
   I will portray a king on horseback.
2. (figuratively) To describe in words; to convey.
3. To play a role; to depict a character, person, situation, or event.
   For my next movie, I will be portraying Shakespeare
4. To adorn with pictures.

I guess it's a correct use of the word, I've just never seen it used to describe an act of duplicity.

Eh, Chris is assuming (correctly) that he's got an audience who would be very interested in this news. This isn't Chris cracking a whip and demanding Watermelon slave away to spread the news. It's more like he's telling the town crier some mind blowing information that everyone wants to know.

That's probably an optimistic view of the situation on Chris' part, but we did have the mighty wings thread here...

It certainly would've been a better twist to reveal it in Issue 11 or 12. Just seems a tad early to me to bring in Graduon like this but, whatever. Though I'm sure I'll be wrong about this, but I bet the old man in Book #2 is going to be her as well.

Has Christine tried to explain her motivation for these changes? Logically, it could be an attempt to curb some of the criticism about Sonichu infringing on copyritten material (since she's making money off it) but I don't think that's ever going to happen since the whole comics is kind of an amalgamation of rip-offs. Would be interesting (and probably funny) to hear what she thinks.
