My roommate saw it. Said it was a fairly good but somewhat forgettable film.

Saw it opening weekend, and I thought it was okay. Better than Secret Life of Pets (not saying much), but despite Illumination trying something a little different, it still wasn't anything ground-breaking or mind-blowing. Even though the characters weren't too bad, the numerous covers of pop songs (and some older titles) were barely tolerable for being the biggest gimmick of the film. Sucks they couldn't write their own songs, probably would've benefited from it.

It was okay, but very forgettable. More of a rental/download sort of thing than something you must see on the big screen.

Animation was decent at least. I'd take a bunch of Zootopia rejects over Illumination's weird-looking humans with unnaturally wide spaces between their noses and mouths any day.

It was nice. Nice characters, kinda bland plot, a bit too cliché at times, but nice.
I liked the songs.

Wasn't she shopping late at night considering she is busy with taking care of her kids plus training for a singing show?

It felt like discount Zootopia, it was one of those movies you watch, find alright, but wont remember in a year or two.
