I'm not going to blame anyone for their initial support of Chey and distancing themselves from Michael until he made a response. There are a lot of creeps and abusers on youtube and call out posts like these are sometimes what it takes to deplatform some of these guys, or in some cases, get them in legal trouble.
I have issues with Alex's 'apolagy'. Alex knew Michael personally and considered them to be friends. How big of a piece of shit do you have to be to publicly disown your friend and then double down even after he mostly redeemed himself? How hard is it to call your friend and ask what's going on? But now that the tides have turned and I'd say most people support Michael, Alex found it in his best interest to pull his support from Chey. I don't like in his note here that he references 'other stories told to him by other people' and 'situations that have been happening privately'. How that comes across to me is that he's saying multiple people have come to him describing situations where Michael has been taking advantage of people and wants us to come to the conclusion of 'where there's smoke, there's fire'. He still wants us to think that there's no way so many people have come forward with these stories and none of them turned out to be true.
Honestly, I think that since Alex can't decipher fact from fiction and can't wait to hear both sides of the story before damning the accused, he really needs to step away from news based commentary. He has a huge influence and isn't able to handle it.
Kwite isn't much better, but at least he's willing to admit he messed up and deserves criticism. The timing is super convenient, he saw Alex's apology go down well with the masses and figured it would be easy to wash his hands of this too.
It's still crazy to me that these snakes plotted this for months behind Michael's back and not one of them sent him a message asking if what Chey was saying was true or asked for his explanation. Insane.

I think it's pretty funny that Alex was fucked either way. Of course mass-unsubbing was to get him to apologise, but then at the same time if he apologised after losing subs people would know it was because he didn't want to lose subscribers.
But if he just continued ignoring it he'd lose a good portion of subs.
I really like that Keem and other YouTubers aren't willing to let it go anyways, regardless of whether or not he owned up for his mistakes in this situation (which he didn't really), from what I've seen he's gotten away with it so many times.

If they were gonna expose Kwite, Hyojin, and Alex using the DMs why not leak almost if not all of it? Wouldn't that make the arguments against them stronger?

So ImAlexx seems to be crashing and burning even more, he's absolutely buying subs but he can't figure out how many to buy without it being obvious, so he goes from days of losing a few hundred, to gaining a few hundred, to days of losing several thousands.
He also gave up fighting the comments in the latest video (not the girl in van video) and just deleted it completely. It had like 1/30th his normal views so I'm sure that was also part of the reason why, didn't want people to see how bad it's gotten.

I do not, I've just been checking in on the socialblade / channel a few times a day because I'm a degenerate loser.
The video he deleted was about the Girl Defined Christian channel, was just over 10 minutes long and he took it down after a day. He wouldn't argue with any of the Slazo comments, only the ones calling him unfunny and how he stretched out his dumb dancing intro to make it over the 10 minute mark.
