Smartest thing Chris has done? -

I never expected Chris to be that dumb until the October 28 incident. Because I thought that was the most stupidest thing he's ever done, even for him.

But there are rare moments where he gets a spark of common sense and intelligence.

For me, it's mostly out of cowardice but the smartest thing ever is not getting his ass kicked by TJ.

I said in another thread that he was right in his future message to advise high school students to take full advantage of their educational opportunities and not to view school as torture but as a place of learning and growth.

Too bad he didn't take his own advice and have an intellectual curiosity about things.

Dropping off of the face of the internet. It only took him 5 years to figure it out.

Sorry, I missed that thread. Can I have a link?

That's a hard question.

I'm new here on the forum, but I've been following the CWCki for years. Searching through what I know trying to find something "smart" Chris has done, the closest I come up with are stupid things that he learned to stop doing.

Creatively, I think he actually did a decent job on the first part of the Patti-chan origin story where he mixed the drawing and photos to tell a story (Then Patti went on welfare and it went downhill from there).

Perhaps becoming a tom-girl is the smartest thing he's done, pathetic as that is. It has brought him some joy. Just look how happy he is in those photos, he's not faking that.

I forgot the exact video but there was one where he essentially encouraged everyone to turn off the internet, go outside, and have a social life. The comment section is filled with people stunned that Chris just gave them practical advice that was totally appropriate for them.

Apart from spending in insane amount of money on vidya and things to put up his ass, Chris seems to handle paying bills relatively well.

Yeah, getting off the internet seems to have been smart for Chris (the remaining moles he has apparently failed to weed out notwithstanding). The chronic level of suspicion he now harbours may be a down-side to that, but I don't know if it will really impact him in any material way.

People, Chris will never leave the damn internet. He will always have some sort of presence. He still thinks he has fans and socializing in real life is obsolete. You know he's got an ad up somewhere on a dating site that nobody's discovered yet. Leaving the internet means leaving facebook, then who will he cry to?

Yeah, but I think that was mostly just him riding the high of getting to experience something new. He' still (loosely) doing the tomgirl thing, and look at how utterly miserable he is now.

The Rollin' and Trollin' video could've been smart. I mean, in concept it totally was. Even though he wasn't particularly convincing, he apparently did fool a lot of people into thinking that everything he'd done up to that point was just theatric. Maybe somebody would've looked into it enough to prove that he was bullshitting, but I honestly think that if he'd just left it there and straightened up, things might've turned out alright for him. He could've either walked away from the internet with only a minimally damaged reputation (and one that he'd be able to explain away on the grounds of being some big, avant-garde act, no less), or he might've been able to ride a bit of positive e-fame as some sort of indie internet comic.

But this is Chris, so none of that happened and just two days later, he blew the whole thing by admitting that he actually was an unemployed autistic virgin that was sponging off his elderly parents and everything that was mentioned towards the end of the Rollin' and Trollin' video was fake. It's almost tragic, really. After his discovery, that video was basically the one shot he had at turning things around for the better and he threw it all away with one horribly edited video.

He had to back out of that, his tugboat was in danger. Employed non-autistic guys don't get :tugboat:

Eh, I don't think that would've mattered if he'd already done whatever it was he needed to do to prove that he really was autistic. Maybe the claim of being employed would've caused a problem, but if there's nothing that can actually be verified, it's tough to imagine the government would just pull his tugboat, of course I'm sure somebody could've easily convinced him otherwise. The scenario I'm talking about does rely strongly on Chris being...well...not Chris.

At the trial, when the judge asked him if he pleaded guilty, he bit his tongue, he paused for five long seconds, he made the herculean effort to tamp down his fury at that goddamned child-raping Michael Snyder, and he said yes.

Problem with dating sites is that there aren't any girls on them (as far as he can tell). He doesn't even try dating sites anymore because of this.

The reason Chris took back Rollin and Trollin was because we told him we were going to tell the government that he was committing disability fraud and he panicked, because he's :stupid: .

Oh shit, I didn't realize that was how it actually went down. I figured he just did it because he wanted to remain True and Honest. Looks like either way his motivation wound up being :stupid:

I read somewhere that the laptop Chris received from "a fan" came with spying software, and that it was wise of him to reinstall Windows on it. Cwcki doesn't fully confirm this story, though.

It was never confirmed that it had anything suspicious installed on it, but Chris did have the laptop wiped, if I remember correctly.
