I doubt she'll try and pull that in this server. From my observation, I can say that the environment there isn't conducive to suicide baiting; if she tried to throw a pity party in the Elf server everyone would laugh at her or tell her to fuck off.
I know I am very late on this. Unfortunately you will just have to take my word for it, as I do not have screenshots, since I did not think it was of any significance at the time. Smug used to claim she was Russian/ claimed to speak Russian frequently as well. It was on an old Twitter account that has long been banned, I am going to guess she was doing this in early to mid 2019, perhaps earlier, if my memory is working. She would sometimes post things in Russian. I suspect she was using an online translator back then as well. Since then we know she has done it for Japanese and German so it would not come as a surprise. Everyone knows she was using a translator now for other languages but I must add that the way a language is written by someone who is "rusty" versus someone who is just using a translator is very distinct.

Grammar and types of awkward phrasings are two big things to look for, specifically direct substitution of words without changing the grammar correctly. If I'm not mistaken, some variation of "Es geht gut" or "Es geht mir gut" is what would most commonly be used here. I have mainly heard "wirklich" used as a substitute for "really" in the context of questioning the truth of something, such as "Wow, really?" or "Did they really do that?". The word she was trying to find was "sehr" which also means really, but is more used in the way she was trying to use "wirklich". "Sehr" is used as in "I am really happy" or "It is going really well". Of course, online translator would not know the difference in the two because in English "really" is most used for both cases. Similar to another common online translator mistake between "kennen" and "weissen" which both mean to know but each have their own nuance. Online translators often choose the wrong form since they are not the best at determining context.

I am surprised there haven't been people pointing out that her vtuber is her own Sonichu unless I missed it. She took two characters she obsesses over and combined them then claimed as her own.

It is interesting that she commissioned the art for her vtuber. It is possible she did it to attempt to stay under the radar. Her art style has made her recognized before. I am not sure what she expected since she used to go by "Smug_Alien" so it was not difficult to draw the connection. She is the real life version of a children's show villain that attaches a fake moustache and says surely no one will recognize me now. Sometimes I wonder if she wants to be recognized because it is a form of attention. It probably makes her feel important.

Yes I believe she also made mentions of it on G+ and some of her other non-Twitter accounts from that era but I am not certain
If I recall, she boasted she knew Russian as part of her Mongolian heritage, and also that her grandmother allegedly escaped the USSR in the 50’s/60’s to immigrate to the U.S. (Went on a deep dive long ago somewhere in the thread when she made that claim. TDLR; It would not make sense with the information she provided because of her age and grandmothers age. The U.S. was not allowing a bunch of Russians to come in as well.)

Unsure if it was documented in the thread but I vaguely remember she claimed at some point that her grandmother escaped the USSR through eastern europe in a suitcase or something though I could be confusing her with someone else. I assume that she made this up so that she could make herself appear that she had a connection to give the authority to "dunk" on communism.
