I'm sure this time Nintendo will make enough units so stores can still have them in stock by Christma

I actually have most of those on my SNES still, so I'll probably pick one up and see how many I can scalp. Because that's how these things work.

Just like with the NES mini, I have everything I already want on Virtual Console. And Star Fox 2 on emulator. All I'd really want are the SNES controllers for proper nostalgia purposes when using VC, which is all I really want from the NES mini.

If I can pre-order on, I'll probably pick it up. But knowing Nintendo, they'll make it a limited run again.

I'm excited to see Star Fox 2 on there. I wonder what the story is behind it finally getting a release.

For me, Nintendo is the abusive girlfriend I somehow always get hooked up with again and again despite my better judgement. I know it's going to end up the exactly same way when I broke up with her the last half dozen times with me feeling manipulated and lied to, but the brief two, three week tryst is always amazing...

....guess I better restock on gauze...

I still have an SNES. The SNES Mini is only slightly tempting because SNES cartridge prices have really gone up lately, even at thrift stores like Value Village, but it looks like I won't be able to plug in my arcade stick so I doubt I'd buy a SNES Mini even if I have the money later this year.

I may finally buy a 3DS (or 2DS) this fall, though.

Sweet, I'll buy 20 of them and resell them on ebay for $200 each. I missed out on the NES mini because I didn't realize so many exceptional individuals would buy something they could emulate for free but I'll be ready this time.
I want one but doubt they'll ever be in stock unless you get really lucky since given the limited numbers they'd be no reason not to just buy every one you can get at retail price and sell them on eBay.

I'd like to get one not only because I missed out on the NES mini, but I also never had an SNES as a kid, so I don't really have the experience with it everyone else does. I went straight from NES to N64. I mean, I have a few of those titles on my 3DS from Virtual Console, but I guess nothing beats playing the originals on the original system.

I can't wait to go to the store to get one and get told "sorry, we only received 2, and they're gone now" though.
