There was a thing a few years back where every news outlet reported on chocolate as a weight loss food, only for the author of the study to reveal it as a hoax. He basically made the study as shit as possible, interpreted the data in a way to support the conclusion, and it still managed to get published by a """""peer-reviewed""""" """""scientific""""" journal.
