They've successfully colonized tabletop by taking over the big companies, and now they're terrified, absolutely terrified, that alternatives might come up. TSR + Gygax Jr. making a successful D&D clone new classic style tabletop RPG without wokeshit would absolutely devastate the narrative, and they can't have that.
