So transparency and parents actually being allowed to know what their kids are being taught is somehow repressive? Agreed. While I think there few things that kids need to able to do without parents being in the loop (mainly being able to report abuse by said parents), there should be absolutely nothing in school program that you aren't comfortable parents knowing. It's fine if some of it awkward or even controversial like sex ed, but nothing should be hidden or not okey to talk about.
