No social media means no dopamine rush, which also means no more destructive versions of the word “fun”.

People will go berzerk because if you are on Facebook every day you are chemically addicted to it. 10% of people will gravitate towards smaller forums like these, maybe congregating in video game chats like World of Warcraft. 90% of people would sit and rot.

Society will probably stay the same but after the initial hit, people will find much less reasons to be mad at each other because the consumption of clickbait would crater.

I suppose I would never see Discord again, which I can't complain too much about.
